Elephant & Castle

Had a yummy, comforting dinner after a long day of walking around the city . Shepard's pie , bread pudding , and a pint. I'd make a point to go back next time I'm in Chicago.

Highly recommended. Very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the real Elephant & Castle that it's named after, which is one of the most horrid areas of South London.

You can order the sweet potato fries without salt. Ask your server. Also, they're thicker sweet potato fries than your typical place, and they're excellent with the aioli with which they are served.

This place is great for a late night bite. The drinks here are great and their food isn't bad. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly .

We got a few rounds of Moscow mules . It's open late and very fun

Great place to watch your favorite hockey team play against the Blackhawks and actually root for then without getting beat up. Most patrons appear to be visiting business folks like myself.

The sweet potato fries are nice and crispy , and the chipotle aioli sauce is a definite nice touch!

Good place to try traditional British comfort food . I enjoyed the Steak & Ale Pie ...so ready for a nap

They offer a side of poutine with their burgers ! Fries covered in cheese curds and gravy . Yeah!

Thai Chicken salad is great! I know, a Strange order for An English pub , but yummy! They even serve it with spicy peanut sauce .

If you like punk and indie music , believe it or not, this is a great spot. Go weeknights after work.

Take the fan-run beer bus from Elephant & Castle to most Chicago Fire soccer matches.

Great spot I found while waiting on the MegaBus to Cleveland one Sunday night! Makes you think you're in London.

Get some drinks here if you're staying at the Club Quarters.

Service can be uneven; skip the shrimp bisque, which is just vegetable soup with shrimp in it
