Definitely try Proto's fresh chicken parm sandwich on his homemade bread . Don't forget to eat his buffalo chicken pizza or his vodka slice . One of the best I've ever had. And I love pizza .
Esquire: Very solid New York slice—the Margherita is more than solid. On Friday nights, the place is open court 4 a.m. as the East Village partiers come crashing in
Had the Spinach and Artichoke slice on the chef 's recommendation. It was great. I prefer thin crust pizza but this slice was remarkably crispy for a thick slice. Overall great! ($3.75!!!!)
I only had my Amex card and no other card, guy at the counter let me give him 3$ and said the rest of the 7$ bill was on him. That's customer service at its finest! PS buff chix pizza is bomb diggity
Delicious pizza ! Try the BBQ chicken or the Margarita!
The most underrated slice in the east village
Ask for Garlic Knots . The guy will tell you they're "2 euros". Relatedly, they're delicious.
Love the ny slices, love the owner.
Try the chicken parm sandwich on Proto's homemade bread .
