Extremely fun dance floor downstairs! There are two lines - one to get in and one to get on the dance floor - but the wait is worth it. Plus, there's no cover!
Cool place, fair price for the beer ! Let's just hope it's not vanished for a fashion store as it happened with CBGB a few yards away
Really cool venue ! The downstairs area has a bar area elevated from the main space, so you can watch the show from two levels. The benches on the side are convenient!
Wanna dance with your crew? Come here on a Friday or Saturday. But be prepared for lines to get into more lines if you get here a little after 11:45
Great music options (different artists on different stages every night)... but there was a cover and bar had xpensive drinks
The crowd is young and hip and the staff is friendly . Great venue despite its size. Read more
#mobilemondays fun crowd fun place good tunes
Perfect party room in the back available by reservation ; this is where we had one of my close friend's 21st birthday and it was a huge hit!
"Two floors—an upstairs bar and a downstairs venue . The speakers can be loud , so don't position yourself right next to them." - Roy LaManna, Music Entrepreneur Read more
Two floors. Three bars . See a killer band in an intimate setting or dance the night away to fantastic DJs .
Great venue with excellent sound and good standing space to see bands. The staff is accommodating and the bartenders are friendly .
I came here for a band and stayed afterwards for the great music and atmosphere. Really good vibe during the weeknights. The weekends get crazy!
Come here on Wednesdays for Dorian Gray! Amazing goth night hosted by Anna Evans and Kayvon Zand.
Noteworthy DJs , non-stop dance parties and a long line on Saturday nights make Bowery Electric a go-to for debauchery on Bowery.
We threw a massive party here on the eve that Google shut down dodgeball. @harryh made t-shirts (I still have some), me & @arainert DJed & @naveen and I launched foursquare a week later @ SXSW 2009.
Head down to the basement if you feel like dancing the night away to awesome Motown music ! You'll definitely need some energy for this dance floor .
Downstairs is great for live music . Very intimate and great acoustics .
Really cool spot to see music
Great bar . Lower floor has live music events . Very chill and casual
Really cool venue with decently priced drinks. Music selection was the perfect mix of 90's and top 40.
$7 House cocktails . $6 Heineken . Typical drink prices for NYC. Small lounge upstairs. Downstairs nice area for DJ dance parties .
One of my all time favorite places - worth the wait to get into the basement for some killer throwbacks
Come on Wed. nights for Old Soul Revival, great live music w/ no cover! Come get your dance on!
Watch out for the random steps in the back if you're at a reserved table. Especially if you're in heels and intoxicated.
This space, previously home to Remote Lounge , is known for its dance party , “The Electric Feel,” every weekend.
Friday/Saturday night parties are great... Danced for like 4 hrs! Try the margaritas @ downstairs bar .
Don't use the coat check ! I checked my coat with my cell phone in the pocket & the attendant gave it to someone else without a claim ticket! And the Bowery did nothing to help! Very irresponsible!
Beer on tap didn't seem to be flowing that well , but music was good and bar tenders were pleasant!
Venue is actually 2 separate clubs in one building. The Bowery Electric is downstairs, and The Browery Electric is upstairs. If you're from NYU, don't ever go downstairs. EVER.
Not too shabby! Fun music . All the dancing 's downstairs-- smile, you're on camera !
Solid venue (downstairs)
Another one of NYC's best spots to see up and coming acts.
Go downstairs. There's typically a list on Fri & Sat for groups. Ask around for the names of the reservations .
One of the best-sounding rooms in the city .
Typically has a cover of $5 or $10 for live music or DJs
Great older music , good for dancing !!
They have live music both upstairs and downstairs.
Weirdest club music I've heard in awhile. I don't go to clubs much anymore but even that was weird to me..mostly 80s -'00s but also like gladys knight thrown in.
Formerly Dorian Grey on Wednesday nights.
great place to listen to music and get some beer
Sweet tunes and great dance floor . Mirror ball and everything.
Excellent dancing ! 90s-early 2000s style ☺️????????????
The music and atmosphere is great.
Monday nights is 45 night. Classic hip hop samples all night.
If you like waiting in lines , you'll love this place. Line to get in, line to go to each of the 2 small dance floors . *Sucked* Read more

One of the most amazing places I have been in N.Y.Full of history, incredible ambient and music. - Miss A
Great atmosphere for an outdoor concert! City Winery with a few wines on tap, pizza, hot dogs, etc. Ingrid Michaelson put on a great show in June! - Ashley Rose
Their fries are about as delicious as fries get. Great snack-ever so crispy. - Ashleigh Nankivell Raizes
The downstairs is awesome for private events or late nights - Harald Zurakowski
Try their Endless Summer cocktail. It tastes better w/cinnamon powder than w/the cinnamon stick. It's a very unique, strong and delicious drink...a little on the sweet side. - Helly K
