Super cute spot to get coffee , drinks, or a bite to eat. Good lattes that come with a small piece of chocolate if you stay in. Cozy spot to read or get work done. They also have free wifi .
I live in DuPont, and Emissary is my go to coffee shop . The food and drinks are amazing! The service is almost always slow on weekends, so have friends to talk to or work to do.
Really adorable spot to catch up with a friend or get work done. So much beautiful natural light .
Cozy place. The smashed avocado toast with fried eggs is delicious. The coffee is pretty decent. Friendly staff (minus the 15min wait at the table for a menu). Generally, like the place.
Nice third wave cafe with good selection of beverages and little bites in the afternoon. Friendly staff . Cozy and delightful.
Cosy place to have your coffee near Dupont Circle.I like the inner space and the lot of options to choose the table to have your coffee .
The food was excellent, but a bit pricey . Coffee was outstanding. Service was very friendly . Outdoor seating made for a great ambience.
Best avocado toast in town ! Plus great coffee from Counter Culture , very cozy european style and friendly service . My favorite place in Dupont Circle!
Smashed avocado toast was da bomb! Espresso was truly excellent. Lox & brioche was bleh (the brioche was very subpar and ruined the taste of the lox and capers , IMO).
Juice cocktails , coffee , and inventive bites are incredible here. Perfect for dates, semi-professional meetings (think grad school), and cozy ambiance
Great lattes & light lunch fair . I ordered the market green salad & it was superb! Loaded w/ fresh local ingredients and prepared to order.
Cafe by day, bar by night. Wonderful place but WiFi is often spotty when there is a full house! To be expected :)
Great breakfast choices and tons of seating! Their iced lattes are delicious.
The avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for a small meal or a large snack .
Lovely coffee shop . The staff is relaxed and kind, and the coffee is STELLAR.
Cozy cafe turned cocktail spot at night. Had a good old fashioned
This costed $15. If made it home, really couldn’t be more than $2-3. In terms of, say, vegan options that are worth the money, I would look elsewhere.
Delicious coffee . Small but very tasty breakfast menu . Very cozy .
Super cute ! Great atmosphere for tele-working. Also functions as a bar in the PM.
They brew Counter Culture beans. Mmm.
Ohhhh , sweet nice place . I hope to come again again again
Good food, good drinks. This place will be very popular once discovered.
Broken wifi and the coffee will give you the squirts
One of the best coffee shops in the city .
The nicest coffee I had in DC!
Good date spot for drinks in the evening.
Great relaxed place for a Sunday morning
Lavender hot chocolate is ????
Have good coffee , work a little bit, in nice atmosphere.
Good coffee , interesting drink menu... But painfully slow service.
Terrific avocado toast !
Avocado toast is great
Matcha latte is delicious
coffee ????????
Not the best coffee around but close to the Kimpton and not Starbucks.
Coffee had no flavor
Overpriced coffee & not impressed with breakfast choices
Go for the nitro coffee and a slice of toast with Maldon Salt and Nutella. Or wait until Sunday when creme brûlée french toast hits the menu. 100% worth it. - David DyTang
If you can’t decide between the avocado smash and the granola, the brekkie board lets you do both! Also the Aussie Iced Chocolate is excellent. - Kate K
Great for hanging out, and a nice shortcut for navigating the maze of streets. - Stephen Victor
An awesome place to spend a quiet afternoon or a good spot to buy gifts for friends and family. - Shannon Yazurlo
