This massive, modern coffee shop is a welcome addition to the ever-growing Mount Vernon Square neighborhood , offering solid coffee drinks with a substantial menu, and delicious house-made baked goods .
Order the Veggie #1 sandwich made with roasted sweet potato , smoked eggplant puree, goat cheese , peppers agrodolce, crispy kale & of course a poached egg , all between crunchy but soft focaccia bread .
Holy moly, this was probably the best BLT that I've ever had. The nitro iced coffee is great too.
If you think Baked & Wired is good for sweets, A Baked Joint is a no-brained for sandwiches and lunch specials . Every open-faced sandwich is drool worthy. The space is perfect for working & reading.
I discovered this coffee shop 3 weeks ago & have been back every weekend since. It's AMAZING! Great coffee , food AND customer service. Q is a really stand up guy, so much personality. BISCUIT SAMMICH
I love a good pour over . ABJ’s drip is better than most other’s pour overs – it’s that good! Coffee , sandwiches , and atmosphere are all top notch... just be sure to get in prior to 10AM on weekends!
This cafe is really different! Huge third wave cafe with amazing beverages. Also treat yourself with their baked goods ! The salads and soups are also nice choice here. This place is a must in D.C.
Great spot with cool atmosphere. Fried capers on the smoked salmon , make it a must try. The French toast is like a delicious dessert for breakfast ! Yum.
Great prosciutto sandwich ! The bread was one of the best I've had! Don't forget to try the walnut brownie along with their Persian Nectar Iced Tea
Try something new and get the Savoury Oatmeal . It doesn’t look as beautiful as the other dishes, but you will forget all about that after the first spoonful. It is like a beautiful breakfast soup .
Sister bakery to Baked and Wired that does not disappoint! Love getting freshly baked bread and not having to go all the way to Georgetown to get their bee stings & biscotti is an added bonus
The biscuit sandwich with cheese and egg is something I did not find elsewhere. It is delicious. The lattes are cutely made, but not spectacular. Great value for price. Very confortando atmosphere.
Such a beautiful cafe with delicious coffee and great light fare . However there is no WiFi so you'll need to bring your own hotspot.
They serve up some tasty lattes to go along with some delicious fresh-made sandwiches .
Go for the nitro coffee and a slice of toast with Maldon Salt and Nutella . Or wait until Sunday when creme brûlée french toast hits the menu. 100% worth it.
Opening week was great! They offer ice coffee , nitro, three ice teas on tap. Amazing toast thing with nutella . For a meal, salmon sandwich excellent.
Favorite casual brunch place in northwest DC. Amazing coffee and fairly priced breakfast and sandwiches make this the ideal and new "it" spot
Nice and sweet staff , Try the biscuit ( eggs and goat cheese ). one of the best breakfast spots in DC .
loved everything - vanilla latte was delicious, BLT could be just right for 1 person but my colleague and I shared it - went 3 days in a row
Brekkie biscuit sammie (goat cheese and herbs) was decent, but the real winner was the meatloaf sandwich . Order with extra crispy onions ! Delicious. Would absolutely return.
Best sandwiches in city makes my day daily. its the best place for me to spend time and eat. i love black coffee here as well . They offer ice coffee , bread , sandwiches etc also.
I got Nutella , banana and Maldon salt on sourdough bread it's amazing. You should try their biscuit sandwiches .
Had the biscuit sammie and it was AMAZING, I ate it so fast and I was so sad when I had nothing left. Also, the iced matcha latte made a nice partner.
Very good coffee ! Can't speak to the food, but the interior is great, the coffee is great, and because of no wifi it is easy to concentrate.
Biscuit Sammie (with bacon ) = WOW amazing! A must-have here. Toasted slice (sourdough ) with Nutella and maldon salt is also incredibly delicious
Amazing bread and coffee . Definitely recommend the biscuit : imagine when a scone meets its fillings and make a very yummy dough .
Awesome spot. Iced dirty chai is my go to for a pick me up without the coffee breath. ????
Candle light coffee , this place is the quintessential coffee shop , Also their pizza nights are worth it!
Everything. But no wifi . Everything else is perfect.
The space itself is gorgeous. Try a sandwich – the bread shines.
Nice seating arrangements. Super spacious . Wish they had pastries like cheesecakes etc. the sandwiches looked yum. Ordering it next time.
The BLT here is really good! Probably the best I’ve ever had!
No wifi here, and I love it!it's not one of those places wheee everybody suts around with their macs and headphones. Great food as well !
Chaider. Nitro. Croissants . OMG bars . It's all good here! One of my favourite places in D.C.
I got the Veggie #1 which was pretty delicious. The atmosphere is incredible and would definitely come back.
Don't miss the biscuit with chesse and egg . It is happiness ????♥️
smoked salmon , with cream cheese was tasty and the baguette was perfect
Pricy , but very very delicious. Fabulous baguette . The biscuit breakfast sammy really hit the spot.
Goat cheese sammie with a fried egg and tomato . Plus an iced skim latte . Chili is super great too!
Come often to see what new goodies they have! Great music , great food, good vibes.
Flat white , biscuits , cherry pie all delicious
Everything looks and smells delicious, but they offer no vegan options during breakfast , outside of beverages.
Biscuits are amazing, especially the biscuit sammies . I love the fried green tomato sandwich too.
Modern and hip cafe with lots of seating. The biscuits are as good as advertised
A cousin of Baked & Wired, with amazing sandwiches and a great (albeit a bit sterile) atmosphere!
Biscuits and yogurt parfait . The granola is out of the world!
Food is A+ but the people who occupy this place (when it’s busy) can be so irritating. People who are occupying seats while reading books or hold an area while friends arrive.
The sourdough toast with peanut butter , sriracha , and cilantro is a bargain and quite filling!
The goat cheese biscuit with eggs no mayo is surprisingly good
For first time I saw I very much like it but it pancake it little so creamy so I really like it
Best avocado toast in town! Plus great coffee from Counter Culture, very cozy european style and friendly service. My favorite place in Dupont Circle! - Valentina Giménez
We couldn’t decide which dish on the table was our favorite. I’ll be dreaming of the Masa Gnocchi for months. And the House Fries and Beef Arepas were also delicious. - Alex Barz
Awesome portraits, gorgeous artwork by talented artists. Beautiful and cool looking courtyard too. - Harjit
This was probably one of the best museums I've visited. It is for all ages and the admission is free! I can recommend going here especially if you are into planes, like me :) - Camilla
Great Mocha (but warning: not sweet at all). Great chocolate croissant - Sophia H
