Ah! Tom Douglas, probably Seattles most known chef . Palace Kitchen takes the crown for the top restaurant of his. Environment is relaxed, classy and dim. Dishes are on point and drinks mucho Bueno!
Pistachios at the bar - unique snack food but it added a great touch! The grilled tuna dish had a lot of unique components but was overall a little salty. The Panama cotta was delightful and playful
If Painted Hills beef makes a burger this amazing, I'm about to start painting some hills and raising cows, because holy f___ this burger is incredible. This is officially a Top 5 Burger .
Great burger with great fries . Open front on a warm day makes for a nice environment. Happy hour deals on food/beer are not great, though. Beer selection is also pretty limited.
Whole wings from free range chickens are completely immersed in a marinade of soy sauce , Dijon mustard , Tabasco , garlic , thyme , sage , and rosemary for at least one or two days. Read more
The service is awesome very welcoming, the burger is truly amazing and if hungry try the local cheese selection plater... Good local beer selection .
Some of the most delicious food I've had. The Palace Royale Burger is well worth it. Try the "Plin" Ravioli and Chicken Shwarma ! The goat cheese fondue is great too!!!
Palace Kitchen gets the industry seal of approval for its late night hours and solid food. There's a general hospitable feel to this place that will never get old.
The dining experience was exquisite. The server was excellent, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was out of this world. Trout and prochetta top of the list.
With half a pound of hand-ground Oregon county chuck and a bun from Seattle’s Dahlia Bakery , the Palace Burger Royale is definitely worthy of its name. Read more
Goat cheese & lavender fondue and rotisserie chicken were phenomenal. Burger is ranked #1 in seattle according to Zagat but I've had better...
Lovely place but the food is overpriced, drinks are good and they have Tom Douglas standards so the staff will be pretty effective, kind and fast.
Goat cheese fondu is amazing! The pork chop is so delicious and the crispy pig ears send it over the top! Great good and great service all around!
The happy hour menu is mostly drink specials , but really good food overall. The happy hour meatballs are a must, and the potato corn soup was good too.
Good variety with clean atmosphere. Slightly expensive though.
Love the goat cheese fondue and the roasted chicken and mashed potatoes ! They can get busy, but their service has been great every time!
With half a pound of hand-ground Oregon county chuck and a bun from Seattle’s Dahlia Bakery , the Palace Burger Royale is definitely worthy of its name.
Palace has the best mussels/clams prep in Seattle and the burger is amazing. Share the mussels/clams and burger , wine by the glass, sit at the bar , perfect night out.
In which place when ordering a vodka orange they squeeze right at the bar the oranges !!!! Amazing
Great dinner spot for special occasions but not great for happy hour .
Star chef Tom Douglas prepares his Palace Burger Royale with local grass-fed beef , Beecher's cheddar from Pike Place Market and roasted onion buns baked at his own Dahlia Bakery .
Appetizers are amazing. We tried few and they really impress.
A quintessential American Bar & Bistro mastered by Chef Tom Douglas . The Plans are a must try, and the daily grilled specials are not to be missed. -Thierry Rautureau, Top Chef
We went for drinks at the bar before a show at Jazz alley. Great drinks, good ambiance.
Best burger in Seattle . Nothing compares to it. If you want to go the calories' whole nine yards, order the Tom Douglas' famous Coconut Cream Pie for dessert . Pure food bliss!
A great spot for late night cocktails and snacks . Friendly bartenders too!
Def go with the pork and skip the fish (even though price for fish seems higher)
The late nite only (after 10P) chick' a biscuit is delish.
Late nite 'chick'n a biscuit ' is only served after 10P and is--delish.
The whole grilled fish is amazing.
Everything... nice touch having pistachios at the bar .. Great drinks
Burger Royale tasted great and really good fries too. Plus the vibe was cool
The goat cheese fondue is divine. The burgers here are gigantic and delicious. And I love the Pink Drink. It looks girlie, but it has a little power behind it. =)
Order the Roasted Chicken - best chicken I've ever had. Great place for drinks and dessert too!
They open late , good place and nice service. Try their triple coconut pie .
Get anything from the Applewood grill section.....you'll be pleased.
Reliably good but a bit too expensive . Also the whole trout was really overcooked.
Best example of American kitchen in the city . Good music and nice interior.
I've only been here once but the food, service, and atmosphere are SHOCKINGLY great.
Another delightful Tom Douglas restaurant . Love the cozy atmosphere .
Go to Palace Kitchen and grab the burger . Chef grinds beef chuck in-house. It's ballsy as hell and it has an intense creamy dijonnaise for the crispiest fries . Perfect for after work with a beer . Read more
The royal burger is worth climbing a hill .
Burgers , starters, drinks
Classic cocktails and perfectly prepared food
Best burger in Seattle . No question about it. Plus, it's a Tom Douglas restaurant . He's the coolest cat in town :-)
The burger and fondue were amazing
Goat cheese fondue is amazing
Cocktail menu looks amazing. The goat cheese fondue was okay, not as great as I hoped.
The happy hour chicken wings are the bomb.com! Get them.
Try the Chicken Wings (via @Foodspotting)
Yummy farm to table altho a little pricey. Awesome rooftop in the heart of Capitol Hill (definitely try to get the rooftop!). - J
Good food and service. Sharing a pile of appetizers is one way to go, and the entrees or a good other way too. - Ray Hartjen
Very nice set up of the restaurant. They just had a new location. Food is good - we had duck, pasta and foie gras. - Mingfei Yan
Great hidden cocktail lounge. I recommend the Dealers Choice - Whiskey - Savory. - Loren Judah
Great performance there, I just wish the city of Seattle would renovate this historic theater - Gina Roma
