Office of the City Clerk - Marriage Bureau

The friendliest city office you're gonna find. Everyone is smiling and happy, as you'd expect from a room full of people in love. But the staff seem to be enjoying themselves too. A nice experience.

If you need your certificate issued faster than the 6+ weeks, return to the bureau with your license filled out after your ceremony and get in the marriage license line again and they can print it.

Getting married? Go in the morning when the lines are short . You can buy flowers on site. Not getting married? Go watch other happy couples and blow bubbles!

Great experience, very efficient. If you're an international, be warned you'll have to make 2 more stops on your journey to marriage legality. First is glam, second is not. ????❤️

Go early to avoid the lines . Flowers for sale on site! It's a typical bureaucratic office but things move quickly.

Take your gleeful cell phone photos OUTSIDE. The light is better. (Trust me, I'm a photographer .)
