City Hall Park

New York squirrels have never been any friendlier in any park except this one. These girls are amazing you can literally stay there the whole time they feel like they're your own personal squirrel .

The perfect place to rest before your walk over the bridge , where wooden benches surround a tree-lined fountain . Stop by City Hall , NYC's second, which was finished in 1811. - Green Guide Editor

Its bike path , which leads directly to the Brooklyn Bridge , offers a different type of scenic view to cyclists pedaling through picturesque panoramas of some of the City 's iconic public architecture .

Hot dogs are a NYC tradition loved by everyone, both private and public sector. Grab a Snap Dog from the cart near NYC City Hall at 258 Broadway and enjoy it in the park - yum!

Bridewell Prison used to occupy the north end of the park , and was one of the deadliest British prisons in Revolutionary-era New York. Bones were found here during the 1990's renovation of City Hall .

A beautiful little park amongst the governmental and financial buildings, City Park is a great place to bring a packed lunch , and sit around the fountain , surrounded by old timey oil lit lanterns. Read more

Look up the history of this park . It's been a meeting place since the 1600s and is one of the many remnants of our colonial history downtown!

If you can't make it to either river , this is the nicest park in the neighborhood . Quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of Lower Manhattan.

I saw this man making noise at some squirrels behind a fense, they approached him, he then bent over and hand feed the black squirrel some food as the other gray squirrels followed looking to be fed.

This is my favorite park in NYC.

Very nice place to hang out and put your hands in the fountain to cool off.

Eating lunch at City Hall Park and took a train tour to see an old abandoned subway station .

This is a great place to hang, whether u're having lunch , getting someone's phone number, chatting w/ powerful NYC politicians, chilling w/ the friendly squirrels , or getting beat by chess hustlers.

Great place to do some work outside on a nice sunny day - free wifi makes it easy!

I loved to walk every day in this park , there's always a place to sit and have lunch

Hold out food and the black squirrels will eat from your hand! (Most adorable way to get rabies ever!!!)

Escape from the concrete jungle for few seconds to admire the nature (by nature I mean squirrels and the greens)
