BBQ Delight ($14.60). Soy pork & mushrooms grilled on a stick. Fried spring rolls . Roasted peanuts . Served on cold rice vermicelli noodles . Pour the vegan fish sauce for flavour
Oyster Mushrooms fritters ($5.80, left). Yummy as a starter 👍🏼 For V-Wings ($6.80), think of it more of a fried vegan drumstick made from chopped mushrooms & soy skin
Summer Roll ($3.80 per roll; this photo 2 rolls). Clean flavoured & crunchy. Just like ur typical Viet Rice Paper Roll minus the prawn
Bun cha ($12.90). The way to eat this is to dip the vermicelli in the sauce, which is sour & lightly spicy . Add herbal leaves for further texture & aromatics
Royal Spicy ($12.80) is bee hoon (rice vermicelli ) in a sour soup that we enjoyed. For protein, there was mushrooms , beancurd skin & no-beef protein
Noodles faves. We toggle between No Crab Noodles ($12.80) and Royal Spicy Noodles ($12.80). Both have depth of flavour & texture
Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe , $9.80). Apparently an exclusive dish at the Killiney outlet. Crispy skin , generous filling
BBQ Delight ($12.80) is a big filling meal. Order if hungry. The accompanying sauce is sweet & spicy
Banh mi $10.80. Delicious, savoury-sweet plant-based version. Interesting use of aromatic herbs
No Crab Noodles ($10.80) has pleasant complex flavours. The lightly spicy tomato soup base was enjoyable
Kind Pho ($10.80) was flavourful. Lots of ingredients
Tropical salad ($4.80) Basically looks & tastes like a bigger serving of the side they give 😬 Lightly pickled
Premium Pho ($14.90). Yummy but overpriced. I’d think twice when reordering. I’d stick to the Kind Pho ($11.80)
Cutleries & tissue paper. Self-service
Steamed egg was light yet aromatic - Cheen The Curious
Japanese Curry Noodles ($10.90) is hot, even their less spicier version! Fragrant & tasty, with lots of noodles. This order with additional onsen egg ($1.50) - Cheen The Curious
Petai Cabe Ijo ($9.90). Love love love. Unique dish fried in green chilli sambal - Cheen The Curious
Love their promos that involve buying new cutlery and crockery. - Elizabeth Lee
