There must be poems about Sciascia's "caffè eccellente". They line the cup with some liquid chocolate , before adding the espresso . Stir a bit before drinking. An absolute must for every Rome visit.

Spent a lovely Sunday morning sat against the wall with a couple espressos and cornettos followed by a couple americanos because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave! Beautiful cafe and atmosphere.

Such a cozy coffee place . After Vatican , we had our coffee and biscuits here and continued to Castelo Sant’Angelo. Perfect choice for Italian coffee atmosphere. No need to say but perfetto coffee !

As I often do, I’m taking Katie Parla’s advice and including this, although I’ve only been there rarely. It’s a grand old caffè in the Italian tradition; good coffee and great service. Treat yourself.

A real Italian cafeteria with the cutest shop inside! Hot chocolate is incredibly delicious. In the morning you can get very tasty fresh croissants ! Cool sandwiches - all day (warm them up🤌)

Very good coffee in an authentic shop. Great idea for a break in between Vatican and Castel Sant'angelo. Don't leave without trying tiramisu .

The prettiest cup of coffee . Served in a thin porcelain cup, make sure to ask for a splash of dark chocolate . Take home a bag of expertly roasted beans. Very good gelato and chocolate selection .

Lovely coffee and variety of pastries . Such an authentic atmosphere, come here for a quick breakfast before going to see the Vatican ;)

Highly recommended cafe .. we tried coffee prestige and 1919 it was amazing .. and don’t miss their tiramisu too

Come for a nice Roman macchiato if you are in Prati. One euro: can't beat regulated coffee prices

It's a very small coffee shop not to far from the Vatican but in my humble opinion they might just make the best espresso in Rome or the world.

Coffee is great, croissants are ok. You should order at the counter, get your food / beverages and then find a seat. The waiter is too overloaded, so you'll be waiting for him forever
