Lively , delicious addition to an already great part of SF. Most items are meant to be shared with plates being small. Everything is delicious. Don't expect a quiet meal. Space makes it loud but fun.
Their fresh made pasta is the real deal. Love the bucatini !
Fresh pasta made daily, casual atmosphere and well priced. Loved the bucatini
Fried delecata squash , the drinks, the pasta we’re all amazing. Good balance of value and flavor. Sneak a seat at the bar to skip the wait!
All of the food is amazing. Spring for the seasonal dishes and pastas in particular. But come early to avoid a ridiculous wait
Incredible pasta — the bucatini with red sauce was great. Great wait staff too
Top class Italian restaurant in Hayes valley. Nice romantic ambiance with really good food. Try the kale white cheese pizza . Minced chicken balls were good too. Loved the negroni here.
The cauliflower appetizer is amazing - must have, super flavorful. For the main you cannot do wrong with any of the pasta choices.
The homemade pasta is delicious as is the pizza ! Oh and appetizers - so everything! Lamb pasta is spot on! Great addition to Hayes Valley.
setting is great, pasta is fresh, pesto tagliatelle was lacking something
Get the asparagus , spring onion , lemon , caciocavallo pizza ! Great place to grab a casual dinner and get your fill of delicious Italian dishes .
Leave your name on the door 1-2 hours before you're ready to eat and grab a drink elsewhere. The wait is worth it and even better if you can pass the time while waiting for a table to open up.
Really great for a spontaneous lunch . Attracted to come in by the larger healthy salads , seduced by the fantastic rigatoni and bucatini .
Delicious pizza & pasta , but just a tad overpriced as plates are small in portion. I guess that’s the general scene in Hayes Valley though ????????♀️. Solid spot for people watching if you sit outside.
Wonderful pasta at reasonable prices. Get the bucatini
Pick any sunny table for a perfect Sunday any time of year. Pastas & pizzas , yes, but don’t miss the *excellent* cocktails & antipasti .
The Monterey bay squid was excellent. The dude I went with had one of the handmade pastas and loved it.
The restaurant vibes is beautiful and the dishes is delicious but try to stay away from chicken cuz it has a smell ????????
For a perfect lunch , come here on a weekday afternoon. Service was great and the lamb rigatoni ????
Pasta is made fresh in-house! Try the bucatini
Phenomenal all around. Bucatini is the star of the show.
all the pastas are excellent and so is the arancini . they don’t take reservations so i’d recommend an early visit (before 6 pm)
Wow this is some really good Italian food . The chicken meatballs were phenomenal.
fast casual pasta , really fresh and tasty. portions are a bit small
Great place and great food. The squid with chickpeas is amazing
The spaghettini with clams and chili flakes is perfect if you like seafood and a little kick to your pasta !
Great place and food. The squid with chickpeas is amazing!
We really enjoyed the bucatini and the summer squash pizza . House wine is a Sangiovese.
Great pasta and cocktails at a very reasonable price. I like sitting at the bar !
All of the food is good but the pizza is outstanding.
Their Breakfast Spaghettini is a near perfect brunch meal: bits of bacon , wilted spinach and topped with a fried egg .
Stone fruit salad , pizza ???? , duck mousse and strawberry mostarda, pasta ???? (not clam spaghettini )
Buckwheat rigatoni was delicious. 100% recommend, along with the beat salad appetizer
Typical SF restaurant . Pretentious (waiters fake Italian accent), average food, 1hr wait, expensive . Overall, below average. Those who claim it’s amazing probably haven’t had an amazing meal before.
Absolutely lovely and wonderful food. Loved pizza , very fresh and delicious.
Puzzled with the overwhelmingly good reviews. Both pizzas and pastas are average. Fresh pastas are overrated. Rigatoni is slightly better than other ones.
Pasta was delicious!
New Italian spot with good pizza and pasta . Modern ambiance
Surprisingly well priced for the location and ambience. The pastas are good. Several vegetarian options .
Love the hand made pastas & seasonal menu . Vegetarian friendly .
Good ambiance but plates are small, thereby negating the "affordability " tagline. Left still hungry.
Really nice italian. Portions are not very big
classic italian restaurant in hayes , try the duck liver mousse
Rigatoni was flavorful. Duck liver appetizer amazing.
Fabu service, Fresh pasta , hip scene, what’s not to like ?
Very busy / vibrant. Dishes were solid. The focaccia was great.
Service is still getting in the swing of things but the food is delicious!
Love sitting outside under the heat lamps with our pup!
Delicious hand made pasta .
The fried delicata squash appetizer is ????????
Excellent wine selection and the pizza was fantastic. Fermented chili added a lightly spicy perfection. The portions are on the small side, so you may want an appetizer. - ReeD
This place is incredible! Can’t go wrong with gnocchi and pesto or bolognes - Nicki Finberg
Strawberry Tres Leches is one of the best ice cream flavors I’ve had in my life. Definitely beats Bi-rite! - Shalin Mantri
My favorite bar in Hayes. Casual cool atmosphere with unique selection of cocktails and beers. - Sydney M
Get some bar seats by the front window. Fabulous craft cocktail and beer list. - Ben Giannini
