Very rich and indulgent ice cream . Staff is nice and patient as you sample through the entire menu. Avoid the line by going on weekdays or by just buying a pint. New flavors every month.

Taylor Lee

Salt & Straw has very original flavors that change seasonally. The Roasted Strawberry Coconut is one of my favorites.

Maya Byrne

best ice cream shop in San Francisco. Wide variety of unusual flavors. Must get the intoxicating waffle cone as the smell is what lures you in.

Hanna Vysochin

Tried blue cheese and pear and really loved it! You can sample any flavor and all of them are the best! It was hard to choose. Definitely the best ice cream I ever had!

Rachelle C

Artisanal ice cream & fresh waffle cones . What’s more to want!? Tip. You can pick up pre-packed pints and not wait in line . Also check out highly insulated pint holders to take ice cream on a picnic !

Elif

They let you try all the tastes and I highly recommend everything! Even the weird sounding combinations might end up the best taste in your mouth! Extraordinary! Salted Caramel , pear&blue cheese ❤️

Noah Weiss

Banana town flavors and super delicious. Salted caramel ribbons plus weird seasonal flavors FTW.

Chuck Roslof

Great ice cream with both traditional (vanilla , cookie dough , etc.) and more interesting (roasted strawberry tres leches , olive oil , etc.) flavors.

Lisa Raphael

Go back monthly to try the limited edition menu (tho the reg menu is pretty spectacular - try the acme bread + cheese flavor you will be happily surprised)

One of those regional chains you’re glad to have in your hometown. The Marionberry varieties are always a hit. Simply mouth watering vegan options , the fresh waffle cones are a must try.

Takes the cake on innovative flavors - loved the melon & capicola with the salted caramel ribbons . Be adventurous!

The best ice cream in the Bay . Salted caramel is my go to but they always have something new that’s out of this world.

Try one of many local flavors and get a scoop in a waffle cone . They actually make waffle cones on site!

Everything is great, but if you’re at a loss try the sea salt with caramel ribbons. Whatever you do, make sure you get a fresh cone !
