Thosai/dosai. Enjoyed a masala thosai ($3.50) from Rajarani Thosai #01-33. Sambhar & chutney dips were light yet tasty. Masala filling was mainly potato mash

Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake ): Sampled fr Song Han #01-07 & Hung Kee #01-17. Song Han was the tastier of the 2, something to do w the curry powder (?)

Appams ($2.50 for 2 plain ones). The stall name may say they sell thosai, but Rajarani #01-33 is also popular for their appams . Saw may regulars order both! Hint of coconut milk in their recipe

Especially love the kopi from the stall with the two Mickey Mouse on top. And the carrot cake by the couple is superb, both white and black are so good!

Not a dinner place . Except for some drinks stalls, locals tuck into steamboat (hot pot soup-based meal), zichar (freshly cooked ala carte Chinese dishes ) & Chinese satay

Pork porridge ($4 +$0.50 for egg ). Decent bowl from Chai Chee Pork Porridge #01-39. Rice porridge not overly mushy. Lots of minced pork balls

Dried goods. While stall name says “Coffee Powder”, Seng Huat #01-56/57 is popular for common dried goods like onions , ginger , spices, etc

Wantan mee : The wantans (dumplings ) fr Xing Ji #01-35 r silky. Overall serving was yummy but not sure where they get their char siew (BBQ pork ) fr; most pieces were overcooked (hard)

Soya milk ($1.10). Lucky Soya Bean #01-08 is the only stall offering soya products at this hawker centre. Milk was aromatic

Go for the stalls with the longest queues :p Singaporeans know what they are queuing for, for sure.

Rajarani Thosai is really good! And the appam too... All freshly prepared and great value for money .

Sarawak Kolo Mee has a long Q, ë pork rib prawn noodle stall #01-43 juz 1 store away has a longer Q. wow

Song Han Carrot Cake #01-07 White carrot cake with their home made curry powder chili . Power!!! Very authentic !

The soya bean drink and beancurd at 36 soya bean is smooth and rich... miles ahead of the other bean stall in front.

If you love malay food,try the nasi sambal goreng at the round market from the stall 'kayat'.For only $2.50, they give a generous serving of rice , sambal goreng , chicken wing , bagedel and 'paru'.

Welcome to the only round market in Singapore! If this is your first visit, the Xing Ji wanton mee , Bu Ti vegetarian food and the one and only kway chap stall are the must try!!!

The corner coffee stall always has a long queue. No wonder! Their kopi C is tops, at only $1.

Must try the pork rib noodle from Sarawak Kolo Mee if u like it tender n soft bone. Decently priced with ample ingredients

Yong tau foo stall has some special ingredients. Wanton Mee and bak chor Mee qt famous too.

Sarawak kolo mee is the best dish here! Must try!

Coming on a sunday requires lots of patience. Long lines for both food and a parking lot .

Kolomee is the good choice here.

Chai chee porridge , seng hiang ba chor mee are my personal favourites! It doesn't take a long queue for the food to be good!

This is my 1st time here.. All stall close so early before 730pm & left one fish steamboat stall? $15/pax is too expensive ! Maybe because all the stalls close except this stall so crowded .

The fish steamboat is really awesome!

The best carrot cake is inside the round market , run by a couple, the man is the cook.

If you like fresh and nice Sg traditional coffee , try QuanFang Coffee (#01-34). 是好的

try the carrot cake (white) @ Xiong Ji carrot cake (01-29) . very traditional taste ...

Look for carrot cake uncle. !!
