Die Glyptothek bezeichnet sowohl die Sammlung antiker griechischer und römischer Skulpturen des bayerischen Staates als auch das Gebäude selbst. Wichtige Werke sind der Barberinische Faun und die 1813 erworbenen wertvollen Giebelfiguren vom Aphaia-Tempel in Ägina, die so genannten Ägineten.

The museum worths a visit. The ticket costs just 1€ on Sundays. To have a coffee in their indoor terrace in a sunny day is glory!
Go there for a coffee and a foccacia and enjoy the quite and peaceful atrium. It's gorgeous.
If you like old sculptures it's great but if you like drawing old sculptures it's heaven.
Some very beautiful hellenic statues are here.. Definitely worth visiting! On sundays the ticket costs only 1€ per person

Собрание античных скульптур. Главный шедевр — два фриза с храма Афины Афайи с острова Эгина. Искусственного освещения почти нет, и скульптуры выглядят очень естественно. В будние дни — тихо и пусто.
