Stir-fry cabbage is excellent. Unique fragrance hardly found in most restaurants . 辣子鸡丁numbing but nice.dan dan noodles is rich in flavour and not too spicy . 红油抄手is smooth and nice but little meat.
The food is surprisingly nice especially the recommended dish, mapo toufu, chicken in chilli soup , fried eggplant or even Yangzhou fried rice . Good service too.
This is the third time we came to this very nice resturant . The biggest mystery is why it is never crowed, which is great, since never have to wait for a table
Spicy beef noodles and dumpling are quite good. The spicy food is not for the weak stomach. Downside side is that the food is a bit salty but with a numb mouth it feels just right.
Note: their 红油鸡 is not 口水鸡. Do not assume (if they intended it to be then it is terribly wrong!). Dan Dan Mian was just mediocre.
This place belongs to Ngee Ann city and not takashimaya. Takashimaya may be the anchor tenant but doesn't own this place. - Keng Hoe Toh

Unique sauce is sweet, sour and numb spicy. Very yummy but a bit too sweet for my liking. Qingjiang is very tasty and full of yummy fat and delicious skin ❤️ - Sawit K.
