Lobster , their services, salmon and Thai calamari are amazing.. Popcorn shrimp Uhmmm... Every time I go to Boston I eat at Legal great environment

The insanely big waters (in clam chowder to-go cups) Devin gave us to help us keep cool for the Fourth of July after we left! She was so considerate and thoughtful, and very nice.

The menu had a variety of seafood . I tried 6 different types of oysters and a bowl of clam chowder . I loved the oysters . Each oyster had its own taste and were fresh, but the clam chowder could pass.

Wasn't crowded during fourth of July for lunch , nicely air conditioned . Chowdah is incredible. Devin was our waitress and she was fantastically helpful and very nice! Went out of her way to please us

You can get the stuff on the lunch menu for dinner if you ask. I had the salad with apples , avocado , and tortilla chips that's only on the lunch menu .

Get the New England Clams as a starter, the seafood assortment was also very good!

The New England Clam Chowder was really nice. The Legal's Signature Crab Cake was good (I switched the seasonal sale for cole slaw ). I would avoid the Crispy Point Judith Calamari it was horrible.

Ask for Devin W. She's very accommodating and will take all your crazy requests. Very nice. Cobb salad was a great alternative to seafood . Watch out, though! Has onions in the blue cheese vinegrette!

They surprisingly made a lot of veggie side accommodations for me when I was here with my family.

The chowder is wonderful. This isn't the Legal Sea Foods from long ago. It's updated and hip .

Poor service tonight, planned to spend evening - drink, dinner with wine , dessert - but dinner arrived with cocktail and even before the bread , so I got the message and left as soon as I'd eaten.

Make sure you're standing near the gumball machine when you check-in, it'll automatically dispense one when you do!

The best food I'm having since I arrived in US 1w ago. Music is ecletic and good too. Try the grilled bluefish with sides.

Definitely recommend the raw oysters , as well as the sashimi tuna and "Everything Tuna ." The polenta is also very creamy and delicious.

New England Clam Chowder and Legal Crab Cake with Polenta ! Really good!

Its a little expensive , but the crab cake and the lobster bisque make it worth!

Not busy on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon but everyone seems very disorganized. I'd call ahead - they've set table for 8; taken it down and reset it twice in <20 minutes! Weird!!!

AMAZING clam chowder and fish & chips

This is an easy walk from the Cambridge Marriott, and def worth it. The surf and turf was excellent.

While the clam chowder is great, the lobster bisque was incredible.

Excellent service , but the cocktails were watered down.
