Summer Shack, with three locations in the Boston area, is helmed by chef-owner Jasper White, a chowder aficionado who also knows his way around a lobster .

If you have had your fill of clam chowder try the fish and crab chowder with rum ! Oh and the lobster roll is legit. Served on a toast bun with big juicy piece!

Started off with good oysters (I liked the Blackpoint oysters ) the fried chicken is juicy!

Cherrystone clams FTW. Try to come on a 2 for 1 day and it'll be one of the best deals around. A great way to sit out the Rt. 2 traffic!

The best part of the maple glazed salmon was I split it and only had to eat half. The salmon was under seasoned the salad was undressed and overall the dish was disappointing.

No more free chowder with entree purchase for showing your Mbta card. Come for the daily menu . Skip the dessert . Banana cream and toll house were not good.

They no longer give free ice cream cones when you show your Charlie card
