We have to go here a lot because the prices are good, the beer and food good. A best deal for Harvard Square. Plus, the ambience is comfortable . Bonus, go at happy hour , and go outside too.

Great warm (and cold) winter drinks, solid beer list , and an amazing happy hour deal on food. Pro tip: get the pickle plate, the pickled tamarind jicama is amazing.

Great beer and dirt cheap food. What's not to love? "Natural disaster" was the best veggie burger I've ever had.

Re: service complaints. I've been here 5 times or so, and I've never had bad service. Maybe I've been lucky, or others have been unlucky . IDK. But I love Grendel's Den.
