Of the 140 Napa wineries in existence by 1900, the stalwarts that remain are Beaulieu, Beringer, Charles Krug, Chateau Montelena, Far Niente, Mayacamas, Markham Vineyards , and Schramsberg.

Amazing service and information at the George de latour tasting room . Amazing wines they don't distribute.
Take the historical winery tour with Curtis. His knowledge of winemaking history in Napa is awesome, and he's funny and quirky too.
The tasting room counters for non-club members are way too small. Only about 12-14 people can stand at them. Forget about a large group tasting in the main room.
Grab a bottle and take it to Rutherford Grill for lunch , no corkage!

The reserve collection is def worth a taste. Very smooth and warm. I also really like the Viognier .
They are REALLY good at the sales pitch for the club so go sober or ready to buy
The Rutherford Estate wine is one of my all time favorite Cabs
Go to BV and check out the Reserve Tasting Room ~ there is usually an older vintage open. You just have to ask!
