It’s not as big as near by Sunken Meadow State Park , but still nice. If you are looking to do walking/hiking this is a good place to do it. Went walking with our leached dog and had a great time.
Great for canoeing , hikes along the sound. Hiking trails aren't excellent, but cool views of the old mental institutions that are now painted

Best dog park in LI, huge dog run, nice trails. Unfortunately in late summer they close very early and open very late, screwing over people who want to take their dogs out before or after work. - Rob Horan
Food was really good. Try the lamb, you can very go wrong with lamb. Everything is very expensive but delicious - Jovonsia Latrice
One of my top five spots to watch the sunset. Also has some great hiking trails. - Fil Antonucci
