There's an abandoned cemetery in the park . Right near the (also abandoned) Kings Park Psychiatric Center. Right off the SA/SM and 25A (Main Street/Northern Boulevard).

Definitely not one of my favorite state parks . However, the beach and boardwalk is pretty cool.

Best dog park in LI, huge dog run, nice trails. Unfortunately in late summer they close very early and open very late, screwing over people who want to take their dogs out before or after work. - Rob Horan
