Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

One of the most fun and interesting bars I've been to! The room and animatronics react to each drink ordered, quite amazing and hard to describe. Just go, have a drink, relax, and be entertained.

You MUST get one of the theme drinks to start. The HippopotaMaiTai is my personal favorite, but all the theme drinks are worth it to try once. The Kona Longboard is a quite refreshing beer .

Most amazing experience! Take your time to experience the various cocktails . You don't need to drink them all but take a group and order different ones!

Different drinks come with a response by the very atmosphere of the bar . Pay attention and decode the menu.

After an hour wait,it was totally worth it. The interactions were loads of fun. Very intimate (fits 51). My top drinks are the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum and the Spikey Pineapple (on the deck)

Fun fact: this life saver was itself saved when the frozen ride replaced maelstrom. It used to be decorating the unload area.

So intentionally cheesy & kitschy that I can't imagine visiting WDW and not stopping in here. It's perfect.

This is the most unique bar experience in Orlando! Trader Sam's will have you on your toes as each drink brings the bar to life in mysterious ways! My fav is the Uh-Oa... Just be prepared for a wait!

Great margarita and the Nautilus is amazing as well . Probably the best themed location on Disney property

Reasonably priced drinks (relative to other WDW prices) and cool atmosphere. Great addition to the Poly.

The drinks are great, the skippers make the experience fun.

An homage to tiki culture nestled into the time capsule that is the Polynesian.

Get a souvenir tiki mug! They're expensive but so worth it.

Don't read too many tips, it spoils all the fun.

There's seating outside on the patio too, no ambiance of Trader Sam's outside though.

This place is awesome! Arrive at least at 3:20 pm cause they have limited capacity.

Waited for 1hr 1/2 and when we were buzzed, there was no way the 6 of us would be sitting together. When we brought this up, were told to "hover" around people who looked like they'd be leaving soon.

The ambient is so cool! Every drink has it's own theme intro and you get to participate! The pearl is yummy!!!
