It's extremely expensive , but probably the most luxurious of the resorts . Great landscaping, comfortable beds , excellent convention center , fine dining , and lots of swimming options are to be found.
We stay here every time we come. The resort is beautiful and service amazing. If you can splurge for club level. Free continental breakfast , tea , cocktails , appetizers , and cordials : )
Come around 4:30 pm for music in the lobby from the pianist on the ground floor and the jazz band on mezzanine to 8:30 pm. Stay and eat. 1900 Park Fare character buffet excellent value.
The cafe has great food for an inexpensive alternative to Narcoosies or Citricos...and the wait staff is attentive and ever so friendly . Try the surf & turf burger for a twist on burgers or fish !
Soak in the lobby, which exudes a great vibe and creates a great hall for the echoes of laughing children. There's live music most nights.
If you're heading over to the Magic Kingdom ; take the monorail THERE and catch the resort ferry BACK. On your way home, The Grand is the first stop on the fairy, but the third stop on the mono ;)
I have never been pampered the way we were here! We were celebrating our engagement and the hotel and staff did absolutely everything they could to make our stay as memorable as possible!
Music by a brass band on the mezzanine alternating with a pianist in tails on the atrium lobby main floor stating around 4:30 pm is a pre-dinner treat. Follow with a buffet dinner at 1900 Park Fare .
Absolutely stunning resort at Christmas . Don't miss the gingerbread house, photo op in lobby in front of Christmas tree .
Just the pianist and the swing band in the lobby make this one of my favorite Disney resorts . If you're lucky enough to be passing by while they're playing sit and listen, you won't regret it!
Say hello to Miss Lynn - aka the Teddy Bear Lady, who can be found sitting near the piano in the afternoons. A very nice person, who has become one of the staples that we look forward to seeing!!
The character breakfast was great. Load up on the buffet so you don't need to spend a lot on lunch at the park .
My sister-in-laws and I had a spa day at the Floridian and it was fantabulous. It definitely was Disney Magic to the hilt. I loved every massage moment. You are in the lap of luxury at this resort .
Epic beauty on a grand scale. It has almost everything including upscale dining and one of only 3 disney hotels with monorail access
Most prestigious Disney Resort . Seeing the main lobby is worth it all. Has a monorail for quick access to Magic Kingdom , along with small boats that go to Magic Kingdom .
Make your reservation early so you can have breakfast , lunch , or dinner at a very elegant cafe . Great food and the atmosphere is beautiful
Fun to visit around Christmas to see the real gingerbread house where you can buy "ginger " goodies... Closes at 10 p.m. each night.
Beautiful property. Had a delightful brunch at the princess tea party.
This is a great resort ! My favorite tip is enjoy a quiet dinner at Narcoossee's to watch the Wishes Fireworks over Magic Kingdom . They pipe the show right into the restaurant and what a view ! Read more
At the daily tea parties in the Garden View Tea Lounge , apple juice is served in tea cups, accompanied by storytelling, singalongs, and guest appearances by Princess Aurora and Sleeping Beauty. Read more
If you wish upon a star, you might get Sugarloaf or the 5th floor in the main building. Enjoy the amenities .
Lobby is always full of music . Such a relaxing place to take a rest from the heat.
Be sure to spend a little time poolside . Sit near the waterfall and order a refreshing mojito from the bar .
Outstanding Disney hotel . Piano bar on 2nd floor is fantastic as are the waiters and bartender "cast".
Gasparilla's is a fantastic quick service restaurant . We had an amazingly good grilled chicken sandwich and grown-up mac & cheese with LOBSTER . for $10 each. So good.
Having a GRAND day! Try concierge level in the outer building (Sugar Loaf) and ask for Eric!
Beautiful resort . Would be an awesome venue for a wedding.
I like coming during any of the holidays, decorated eggs during Easter, gingerbread house during Christmas , etc...
Due to the recent tragedy of an alligator attack Disney is putting up fences at the beaches surround Seven Seas Lagoon.
If you prefer to just have fun inside the hotel , there's a 24-hour game room where you can enjoy various games all day long.
Don't miss the 1900 Park Fare Breakfast , the buffet is very good and you're going to have fun with Pooh, Tiger, Alice and others!! You must book .
The Disney Character Breakfast at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort gives you the opportunity to get cozy with Daisy Duck or a Disney Princess! Read more
Best hotel in Florida, love hanging out in the lobby and listening to the band, very relaxing
Gingerbread house has 16 hidden Mickeys during Christmas time .
Love, love, love! It's amazing ????

The story of the older lady with the stuffed animals is sad. Seems she used to come to the hotel with her husband, he passed years ago and now she visits the hotel every single day.
Fantastic piano player . Nice place to relax and listen!
Stayed here on my honeymoon last year and LOVED it!! This year for our one year anniversary we stayed at Polynesian. Not a big fan of the Polynesian
While the hamper is a nice touch, I wonder how many people accidentally leave dirty laundry behind!
For the past 12 years Chef Jade Bowser and her pastry team have prepared a life-sized gingerbread house that is displayed in the lobby throughout the winter.
Beautiful place at Christmas time . Awesome gingerbread house.
Great experience. Will definitely return. AP discount .
Enjoying the stay so far although the monorail has been down a lot. The CM had us wait over 30 mins for a pre-opening Epcot bus before telling us none was coming. We had to take a $17 w/ tip cab ride.
Wash your hands in the soap store on the second floor. Free testers leave you hands feeling and smelling wonderful! And it's free! Free!
If you are getting on the Monorail , you'll need to head up to the second floor of the Lobby then walk outside. No access from outside by valet.
Try the Raspberry Rain in the lounge on the second floor. Take it to go if you'd like. It is very refreshing. Yum!
Rent a pontoon at the marina . 2 hours to go around the Seven Seas lagoon. Enough time and lots of fun.
This is a nice place to stay but if your not planning on spending anytime back here don't spend the extra money for it.
Quick one stop to magic kingdom. I'd take the boat back though as that is only one stop back compared to four if you go from MK to GF on the monorail. - John V.
The eggs Benedict, regular or lobster is to die for! The most consistent hollandaise sauce I have had! - Devlin Spearman
An excellent buffet with character! Desserts were delicious, meats were excellent and the pear and goat cheese salad was scrumptious! - Meaghan Kenny
Rustic and immersive. A fun loving family resort the doesn't overlook the deluxe comforts. - Sean Leb
