Stuffed animals from every continent, a sense of what museums were like in an earlier era, and friendly staff . It’s also Free. Totally worth a visit, even for 30 minutes if you’re nearby.
Really enjoyed it here. Sometimes very bizarre - the selection of 'Irish slugs' for example, and some examples of hilariously bad taxidermy , like the confused overstuffed seal upstairs!
Giant reindeer and a 19th century polar bear among other amazing finds. All in Victorian cabinets.
Its essentially a large converted Library full of stuffed animals, but despite this it has a character and grandeur that brings back sweet memories of my childhood.
Not much to see here.. But worth visiting if you're in the area (free); also visit nearby places (archaeological museum + national gallery + Oscar Wilde statue )
This museum is very informative both for the children and adults! You can learn many kind of specieies
Dead zoo in the original Victorian style. Penny Dreadfulwas filmed here. The upper floors are closed, but may open next year.
Interesting place to visit in Dublin. Admission free!
The place is just beautiful and old fashioned . It's like be in a other century. :)
The dead zoo ! Hundreds of stuffed animals! So much fun!
The Dead Zoo ! Interesting spot. A little eerie, especially as we approach Halloween season.
Quite entertaining, with a bit of a science classroom feeling!definitely worth a visit!
There is a huuuuge variety of animals displayed at this museum . Everything is impecable.
Interesting and free, kids will love it. Better start from top to botttom.
The entree is free, please donate something. This is a must see if you visit Dublin.
Don't forget to go upstairs - they have a lot of stuffed animals from around the world!
I love how old-fashioned it is. It's like visiting a museum one hundred years ago!
Very good for kids and scholars. Not at all bad even for grown-ups. Do climb to first floor as it is even better than ground floor.
It's nice know this place to discover more about the history irish!
Great collection of The Irish wildlife . Free entry .
Great museum , a lot of stuffed animals from all over the world
Note that there's no lockers or cloakroom, you take your belongings into the museum .
The upstairs section is very neat. Deceivingly large!
Go upstairs! There are no signs, but the most exciting part of the collection is upstairs.
It's great if you like dead animals and stuff, actually very complete but that's not for me. It made me sick after a while.
Try the cafe , nice and quiet to chat
Its free and worth it
Don't forget to look up ... there're are big sharks and whales hanging from the ceiling.

I though that I only will see a museum like this in a movie, beautiful and unforgettable.
Музей просто обалденный! Обязательно посетите, и не пропустите экспозиции на втором этаже !
Интересно, но не успели посмотреть все. Обязательно вернусь. Особенно понравились мертвые тела
Dondurulmuş hayvan görmekten hoşlanmıyor isen kesinlikle ugrama
Nice place to flake after lunch - Paul Gosker
Amazing Museum with so many things to see but you need at least half day for better understanding the history of it... - Luca SIDDHARTA Ruberto
Great exhibition of Irish history. Very interesting, we learned so much new things. Well recommended. Just the view from the tower is a bit disappointing. - M@rek
Good selection of exhibits. Compared to the natural history museum around the corner it's more modern, with some excellent exhibits. Beautiful building, too. - Stephen D
The portrait gallery is excellent. Loved that the museum is small enough that you feel as though you can really see it all. - Sarah Doody
Plenty of green space for lunch or relax during break at work, just perfect - Paula Szegda
