Open Space is the best! more than the paintings or sculptures ,the building itself has a lot o charming,it's impressive: big walls,huge doors, high ceilings ..definitely a must while visiting Dublin!

You'll find a great collection of french painters from the early 20th century in this newly renovated building. The admission to the permanent exhibition is free.

The gallery houses 14,000 works, but the most famous is Caravaggio’s 17th century Taking Of Christ. It was discovered in a Dublin Jesuit house in 1993 where it was thought to be copy.

The toilets here are always well kept. This place is useful if you get caught short in the Merrion Square area.
The cafeteria (Clare Street) entrance is a good place to get some reading & writing done
