Great exhibitions ! A gem of modern art in such an old building and context. Our experience was noteworthy! ????
Worth the visit, also pass by the prison museum across the road . Nice outdoor cafe seating, funky item shop & art ! (Free for students)
This is where you should go if you wish to see some great moderns and contemporary art . Former Royal Hospital Kilmainham, this has great works by old masters such as Dürer, Goya, Rembrandt, etc.
Highly recommended. Permanent collection is very strong, and temporary exhibitions are usually excellent.
Gorgeous gardens to wander around on a warm summer day.
The main gallery is currently clised for refurbishment but the garden is well worth a visit. So is Sid Nolan's Ned Kelly exhibition in the New Gallery

Beautiful building. Institution that's presenting great (local) Irish artist
The layout was beautiful and fun to get around. The content was okay, but the surroundings are what made the visit for me
Main museum is free...not very big. Be sure to explore the beautiful grounds.
Opening 9.45. good museum but some places was closed. I think it could better than now.
Probably the most confusing modern art museum with the poorest collection I've ever been to. :/
The main building is closed until August 2013, you would have to settle for the small exhibitions .
Be sure and walk the grounds also. Beautiful place.
Café is great for lunch .
The most interesting thing here is the garden ...
Beautiful cafe in the basement
Great place to take a walk or jogging
Great art museum !
Loving the gardens
The warning is unnecessary :)
Cant see much nite time :)
check out the garden in IMMA. coolio.
Great little museum with the bacon studio setup
Lugar adorável!
Скучновато. Основная экспозиция очень маленькая, а выставок немного. И в целом как-то пустовато.
Pequeno, mas precioso!
War etwas enttäuschend und unübersichtlich.
Cultuurtip van Philip
excellent self service food. Desserts are especially good - try the gluten free chocolate cake- dense and rich. - aoife Flynn
its-a-imma cafe in the basement is tasty and cheap. Formal Gardens are great in dry weather- a mini versailles - aoife Flynn
The portrait gallery is excellent. Loved that the museum is small enough that you feel as though you can really see it all. - Sarah Doody
Well worth the visit. Free admission. For me, the highlight was seeing the contents of Francis Bacon's studio analysed in detail - Joyce Cheng
Must see in Dublin! The collection is amazing and entrance is free! - luisella
