As a regular here, I find the sashimi and tempura to be the dishes that keep pulling me back. I love the dim lights at Kogetsu that makes the environment feel cool and relaxing.
The makarel teriyaki set is good! The mixed sashimi is also mostly good, unless the octopus cut. Sitting by the window with view on the "lake " is quite nice especially on a rainy day like today
Paid Rm145 to get "butchered " tuna . Chicken teriyaki was basically chicken stir fried in oyster sauce . Waitress refused to bring us spoons/ plates cause they are "all at the buffet table"
Tried the new year eve set here. RM120 nett. Comes with soba , cawan mushi and dessert too. This place is nice but expensive????
All seafood are really fresh, portion of food is good too. If you like oyster try the kaki yuzu itame- stir fried oyster with miso . Really good.
Reasonable lunch buffet . 99 items to choose from the menu, tasted very nice. Very friendly staff n good service . Will definitely come back.
The Japanese buffet is super value for money and delicious! Also must try the matcha ice cream . BEST.
Extremely overpriced very average Japanese dining. Beef ok but crazily priced. Sashimi not fresh n minimal. Only nice thing was the view of a lake or water feature of some sort. Won't go back again.
The food is nice, flavor is never on the extreme end and ambience is cozy . But wait do you hear that? That is the sound of my wallet weeping in agony.
Teppanyaki lamb and cod fish is simply delicious, give it a try !
If u want to have dinner with family u better bring more cash rm400 above perhaps
Moody waitress , Evelyn. Can't even smile or a courtesy thank you. Would appreciate if she took the time to properly explain the menu. Sigh....
Ordered Kaizo salad expecting there would be seaweed but it didn't because it ran out??? The freaking chefs didn't inform the waiter that they ran out. Could've at least informed us it ran out?? ????????
The ambiance and the food there is just amazing. I had a Japanese Beef Curry Rice , and the beef was so tender and juicy. Read more
The food was good but not worth the price ???? Somehow, thumbs up for the chef cause he's from Japan! ☺️
Nice enviroment nice servise
1st class Japanese Restaurant...atmospehere really good and nice..
Curry Vs Cod ! Delish!
The makunouchi bento box is super delicious and customizable to my liking..
Special Sashimi !!!
The salmon maki with fish roe is superb! A whole lot of fish roe ! Overloaddddd yumm!
Nice ambience, great food.
The waiters here are crazy. Not even finish the meal they collect and clean the table like chasing us away PLEASE BE PATIENT we might want to order more but you kept the chopsticks away?!
Very disappointed. What's good? Only the ambiance. Average Japanese food , overpriced. Don't bother ordering the Mochi ice cream too. Also, waiter took forever to bring the bill.
Try the dobin mushi ! Best in town !
Chef Minami is the BEST!
Lamb teppanyaki rocks my world
Fresh that all I can accept
Samon Head Soup
Very expensive . Selection is limited and the cut size for sushi and sashimi is not to my expectation.
Nothing was nice. Everything was overpriced. Amazing
For the quality of fresh food , its extremely over priced. Definitely not value for money when compared to an Omakase spread @ Hanazen.
food is good, but service today was particularly bad. restaurant 's that can't take crowds, should limit the number of guests that accept
Everything is so bad. Holy shit
Wasted my time and money to dine here.
Overly priced for mediocre food. Simple dish like sushi and chawan mushi already dissapointing.
last day @ here
food is good but service today was particularly bad
Food Standard dropped tremendously. Very disappointed. Overprice.
Banyak pilihan makanan..
The best teppanyaki set ive ever had. Also try the black sesame ice cream. - Suzana Jamil
Try the Salmon Skin. Unlike others, Rakuzen prepares it differently. The skin is sliced so thin and deep fried, but the end product is like prawn crackers... Light and crispy. Simply delicious! - David Chew
Love the ambience. Feels at home. Good service fr the staff. - Abdul Razak Shams
A very friendly mall for parents with babies/toddlers as there are a few Parents Room provided. Many good restaurants & cafes too. - Aliaa Chezul
