Very local kind of hawker center with an amazing amount of traditional breakfast options. Had a great lontong, as well as carrot cake .

Shredded chicken + wantans. Chye Kee #01-122 serves this interesting combo, together with braised mushroom slices. The wantans stood out: generous, juicy minced meat fillings

Kopi (local coffee ). Everyday Tea Stall #01-128 brews arguably the better kopi at this food centre. Thick & bitter till the last drop. Popular (& opens only) in the mornings

Gik Gik Heng #01-129 served herbal prawn/pork ribs mee and lor mee . Love the herbal taste of the broth and lor mee might looks very thick but actually it's not. Worth a try

Wantan noodles . 2 options: A) Hup Heng 01-141 & B) Capitol 01-140. (A) is slightly better: substantial wantans (with chopped water chestnuts ) & thick char siew (BBQ pork ). Char siew from (B) was hard

Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake ). New contender Carrot Cubes #01-115 tastes oilier & saltier, when compared side-by-side with Chun Seng 2 stalls away

Hainanese curry rice . Wasn't blown over by pork chop set from Hainan Curry Scissors Rice 01-119. Curry was relatively spicier, stewed cabbage soft

Tasty chai tow kway from Chun Cheng #01-113. Evenly fried, and fried eggs bind the top & bottom, like Chey Sua in Toa Payoh

Vegetarian kway chap . Find this plant-based version from Tian Yi #01-143. Clean & light flavours

Poh hua coffee drinks stall #01-118 not even serve tasty coffee !! Their bread can be lagi soft or even crispy , definitely best with their beautiful half-boiled eggs ! Friendly uncle and auntie!!

Song kee fishball noodle . Ever since they change the min price to $4, the queue is killed by more than 70%. It's a cruel world. Meanwhile the chicken noodle beside set min to $3 a bowl (was $2.5)

Chwee Kueh. ‘Chai por’ (chopped fermented radish ) toppings from 水粿 #01-136 was insufficient, & lacked any aroma. $1.20 for 4 pcs

01-130 香记粿条面汤 is good... Like their dry noodle with chili ... Noodle not too dry nor too soggy, it's jus nice... Chili is superb. 01-128 Everyday Tea stall : whether Tea and Coffee both r equally gd!

#01-117 fried carrot cake is nice. Their kueh kueh also not bad. 3 for $1

Hiap Lee wonton noodle is great for breakfast ! The char siew is roasted just nice...

2nd cup of kopi at Everyday Tea Store need not Q. The store owner can recognize U after yr 1st purchase . Awesome!

ying yi kway chap : it's above average, but falls short of stellar. i like their preserved vegetables and big intestines.

Kuey zhup stall directly BEHIND #01-146 is tasty. Can try.

Mee Rebus. Nothing memorable abt the serving from Wantom Food Stall #01-102. Sauce was decent

527 Fried Carrot Cake #01-117. Tasty black carrot cake and good chilli .

Chicken rice . The serving from Zhou Kee #01-146 was uneventful for me

The Best Fried Carrot Cake , white only is @ stall Hai Kee Cooked Food #01-115. Close on every Mon n usually by noon time the carrot cake will be finished.

everyday tea stall : coffee is good! they don't serve them in regular sizes however - you can only choose between small or large cups. 

The chicken rice in 福满 is nice if you mind the long queue of the hainanese chicken Rick at #01-146 facing the carpark. Can give it a try.

Lee Heng cooked food stall serves nice and huge varieties of veggies and meat. Serves porridge and rice as well .
