This is a classic Vienna restaurant that serves traditional Austrian food . The Viennese menu is big enough for 2 people if you are not starving. The bar area is also great for grabbing a drink.

Traditional restaurant and bar at the rim of the "Golden Quarter". Fine sandwiches in the afternoon (try ham with horseradish and thuna with red cabbage ), quick and friendly service .

The fillet on black olive oil is perfect. Ask for the olive oil with the breads . There's a very good (price) lunch menu . The wines and champagnes are sold by the glass, making it affordable . Free wifi

Just about everything here is as it should be. Obviously try the ham ... But do not overlook their plum crepes !

One of the view venues which age goes beyond the Turkish siege of 1683. Either book a table or come forenoon on weekends.

Excellent sandwiches . Delish veal schnitzel with fine crispy breaded crust. Sit outside for the cafe atmosphere but brave the cigarette smoke. Very attentive and efficient wait staff .

A bit touristy but what a fantastic spot to have a glass of champagne and oysters in late fall/winter. Gotta love the chandelier of the outside area.

Abit hectic with lots of people. Service was fast and efficient but a bit cold. That’s cause they’re very busy. We had bacon and eggs with croissant and the Prosecco breakfast . Both quite nice.

2 different spaces: MUST HAVE SANDWICHES - AMAZING! with a "Glaserl" Gruenen Veltliner. And "The Restaurant " with Kalbsgulasch und Marillenknoederl und Host Maitre Gensbichler.That's Vienna!

good coffee , delicious food (even though the quality isn't just the same as it was a couple of years ago), excellent service, nice outdoor seating , but somewhat expensive .

Delicious open sandwiches but the waiters are infuriating, it's pot luck whether they will come up to you and ask if you want anything to drink. If you are lucky enough to get one, order a Pfiff.

Fine espresso with slight bitter taste - almost perfect.

It's like walking back into the 1800s as reflected in the age of the place. I was seated by an old chap with the largest handlebar moustache known to mankind.Beethoven is known to have eaten here.
