Awesome and sassy (in a good way) customer service, fast and delicious. The diner car atmosphere is fun, but means you get 30 minutes to eat due to space issues. The apple pie is a must!
Voted top 15 places to eat with kids! Diner food certainly can't be for every meal, but kids love a train car, and these are the moments when a lifetime of memories are formed.
That Chicken Burger is yum. Def coming here again to try the breakfast food 👌🏽
Get a malt they are so good! All of their food is amazing! Great burger or quick breakfast place to go. Also has that downtown feel to it.
Pancakes , burgers , REAL hash browns , patty melt , root beer float , Mulligan Stewart are all good bets here

Take a trip back in time at this St. Paul landmark . Breakfast/the one-eyed jack sandwich is their specialty.
Authentic Diner in downtown St. Paul. Basic menu and the blueberry pancakes I had was delicious.
Order the pancakes ; they're awesome and huge. They also know what a one-eyed jack is, in case you're feeling adventurous.
Typical diner in the best way possible. Bring cash for tips! Pancakes and waffle were fantastic.
Authentic , historic American diner slinging hash all day.
Bring cash for tip...they accept CCards, but you are unable to add tip on the card. Believe you me, you're going to WANT to fork over $$$ for a tip it's so good!
Classic St. Paul establishment - definitely comfort food at it's finest!
No matter what you get, its all good. Just be sure to have cash for a tip, and these workers soooo deserve that tip!!!
Go on off-peak hours. It's a fun landmark , but the small space means the kitchen gets backed up easily.
Classic St. Paul establishment - definitely comfort food at its finest!
Ask for a poached egg with green chili . It's not bad. Also their hash browns are better when super crispy .
This place has been continuously since the 1930's I believe. 24X7, great breakfast !
Mickey’s Diner has been serving breakfast for more than 60 years. It's the only known dining car of its type to survive in Minnesota (it is one of only a few left in the US).
I had the CLASSIC (cheeseburger , hashbrowns , and mulligan stew ) but I substituted Potatoes O'Brien for the hashbrowns . Very good!
Sausage and tomato omelette with hash browns .. Giant and yummy.
Had the twos. Pancakes were great. Bacon and eggs solid.
The grillmaster here is a hoot. Very nostalgic and historical stop. His omelettes are 2nd to none as are the chocolate malts . Not exactly a health nuts paradise but ohhh so good !!
I love the bean soup ! But everything is awesome
you might end up eating food you didn't order...their cooks make great recommendations and don't charge you for trying food they make you eat : )
Great food. Same surly waitress from my visit 20 years ago I think. She is Topo funny
Unbelievable...one of few remaining authentic diner cars left in America! A landmark

The Greek omelet is the best. It has peppers in it and I always ask for extra. The pita bread that comes with it has some good spicy flavor to it- homemade!!! Try it. - Erin B.
