Lobby, bar and pool area are fantastic at sunset giving spectacular views of the sea and sun as it goes down. Rooms are nice but not quite as wow as the lobby!

Very engaging and friendly staff at this resort . Very helpful with what to explore both on resort grounds and surrounding areas.

Beautiful property, scenery and beach . Very isolated and you will be limited to overpriced resort dining options unless you have a car. 23% service charge added to all room service .

Brown's Beach house is the best fine dining in Big Island . Trust me, I am really picky. Ask for the front row.

Quiet and relaxing at the far end of the beach with turtles in the little bay . Be sure to try a pineapple cucumber Mojito !

Sunset dinner at Hale Kai is da kine! The lobster stir fry rice and the spicy chicken wings are really, really good!.

Beautiful hotel . Very family and couple oriented, but probably not the most fun spot for the 20 - 30 crowd.

Try the Egg N Cheese Breakfast Sandwich - Yummmm!! Now I need to do the Ironman ! Ha!
