Ask for a deluxe room and a refurbished room. Those have the most spaces and extra outlets on the wall. For Hilton Gold and above, the buffet breakfast in the morning is complimentary and fantastic!

This is one of the best hotels I have stopped in. Room glorious. No road noise. Air con. Bar very swish. Food tasty. And they packed me up for my lunch on check out day. Awesome!

Nice room and attention to detail is great however rooms were not soundproof and I heard a lot coming from the rooms next door! If you know what I mean...

Very pleasant stay in a nicely-refurbed property but if it's wintertime don't get a room on the first floor. There's no heating in the rooms at the moment.

If you're over 6ft you won't fit under the showers and you can't adjust them.

It's a hotel .... Better than an Ibis :) nice beds expensive food. But then again why eat here when you are surrounded by fantastic pubs

Ask for a room that doesn't overlook the main road . My room did and it was noisy thro the night with traffic & church bells!

Pretty standard for the double tree brand. Same price as the garden inn round the corner, stayed at both and certainly prefer the double tree . Each to his own though.

In the middle of a refurb . I got a refurbished room they are modern and functional.

Certainly not a 4* experience. No hot water from the shower , no fridge and the room, whilst clean enough, had marks on the wall and was just a bit shabby. Ok value if through an offer.

Rooms poor quality-need a proper refurbish, we had to change twice our room,first one was completely uncleaned, second too loud thanks to neighboors separated from us by door only! 3rd room ok. #fail

Stay somewhere else. My room was shabby and dirty - this appears to be a footprint on my toilet seat
