Tasted the Char Kuay Teow with less black sweet sauce with more chilli and additional 1 egg . It was just as good as Hill St. at Bedok.
Hidden inside this kopitiam is a chef who fries Teochew-style char kway teow with intensity. Moist & savoury. Smallest $4 size comes with 2 shelled prawns & a generous throw of taugeh (bean sprouts )
Only 2 stalls open for breakfast (besides the drinks stall ): bak chor mee (minced pork noodles ), & mi chiang kueh (Chinese peanut pancake )
Can't go wrong with the western grill and chai peng stall here. Skip the bak chor mee .
Thought the pork satay and oyster omelette was above average. Good option if you're in the neighbourhood.
Good Chai Chee noodle . Cakes at Pancake King are better than the pancakes
Backyard Grill is tasty, but be prepared to wait. Sole chef is nippy though
Enjoyed the roasted duck noodle very much! Will definitely come back.
