A hidden gem in the city . A place for cheap eats right on the lake with a gorgeous view . There is a park and playground adjacent, perfect for families with young children.

Finally checked out the place and it was pretty awesome. I recommend the Basket portion where I had the "Fish & Chips " and my girl had the "Chicken & Chips "...it hits the spot.

This is a hidden gem for sure. Take your laptop and work here while enjoying lunch . So relaxing. Its outside, so only during the summer months . I had the fish fry and a long island . Unbelievable!!

Great views and a fantastic place to enjoy the lakefront with a drink in hand during the summer. Stay away from the food. Its not edible.

Part of Berger Park , and you can't see it from Sheridan, but lots of outdoor tables.I walked in the door marked "The Waterfront Cafe," but I got confused looks from the staff ; just walk to the tables.

The amazing view of the lake makes this cafe a good date choice. The fish and chips is the best choice.

Amazing location but hard to find parking and the horseflies were biting at my family and I the entire time!

Fish and chips were great. Wine pours were skimpy for $8 a glass. The view can't be beat.

I've been here a few times. The service isn't too friendly , food is decent for a quick bite , but the view of the lake is amazing.

Great place to grab a drink after/during a bike ride .

Great atmosphere, but our order was forgotten for almost an hour. A couple of beers on the house would've made up for the gaffe, but alas, no such consolation was offered.

The falafel wrap is so good. Best lakeside restaurant in the city !

This place is 1)right on the lake , 2) sells BEER AND WINE , 3) and is affordable (like $7-8 per item). Worth a visit!

Great ambiance. They warned us up front it would take about 20 minutes, then forgot our order completely and we waited for about an hour. And they weren't busy. Just saying.

The guacamole is amazing and so are the chips ! The guacamole isn't cilantro-y!

The service was absolutely terrible. it's hard to be perfect on a busy day, but to not check on a table AT ALL after you drop their food is unacceptable. I even had to hunt the waiter down to pay.

Unnecessary expensive ! And there is no meal whatever you order comes senseless chips ! 4 wings and a basket chip for 15$ it is not fair at all !

The view is amazing, and the live music is great. The fish and chips is too salty, aka not edible. Decent food.

Slowest service I've ever seen. Had about 12 waiters for 8 empty tables and 6 occupied tables. Food took 45 mins to come which consisted of a turkey wrap and fish n chips . The Weather was nice though

waited a long time for service. Finally asked someone to wait on us. I guess the other reviews are right about slow service. a shame because it is a nice spot.

Service is terrible and the food is just passable. The view however is priceless, as was the live music .
