Giant Food

This is an excellent Giant. Great service, good selection, clean everything (including the bathrooms ). Ignore the bad tips, they are incorrect as of this posting.

This place is packed 99% of the time. Especially any week day after 5:00 pm and all day Sunday.

Love this Giant! Make sure to use your Giant card to get gas rewards points! Every dollar=1 point and every 100 points=10 cents off at a Shell gas station ! Pretty awesome deal

Phyllis is an awesome cashier . Probably the nicest, sanest, speediest person in this place. And funny. Mostly funny. Makes a trip to Giant hell less painful.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good and sometime it is BAD. Parking lot can be shear madness. And what's with all the people parking in the NO PARKING ZONE. Find a real spot people!

The guys in the butcher shop were incredibly helpful getting me extra marrow bones from the back for my dog.

Better than the one on 7th St. was, customer service wise, but gradually catching up, and they're not open all night.

The cashiers at self checkout was a true nightmare I was so embarrassed and hurt because I was treated like a thief when I said something she went off they had to remove her she wanted to fight me.

Outside you'll find a guy drinking what looks like beer (or urine) from a water bottle. Under no circumstances should you drink from this bottle.

Lines are long. Check social networking sites while you wait to make the time pass. Haha!

Oh my effing g what is wrong with this place!? Its like a vortex of ineptitude. Im on 25 minutes at the self check out. People trying to figure them out like they are nuclear reactors.

Don't let the location fool you. This grocery store has the fastest checkout lines in DC, plus a ton of self service checkouts

ONLY COME HERE IF NO OTHER CHOICE. Closest grocery to my house but I go miles out of my way for better customer service. One pro checker- the rest flunked middle school and too focused on their nails

I cannot believe how long it takes to check out here. Unbelievably slow whether it be the cashiers or the people checking themselves out.

I must say the manager was very professional I had 2 order after the poor service from self checkout I asked for a refund. I’ll never go there again.

Nothing like getting home with expired yogurt and nearly expired meat. You can slap a new coat of paint on it, but it's still a poorly managed hell hole. Check every expiration date you see.

I hate this place. Rude employees (not all), messy, crowded all the time, not very good selections, definitely not gourmet.

Here's a tip: avoid at all costs. Rude staff that's too busy hiding in the rows to talk on the phone, idiot customers who can't function in public and children who should be leashed at all times.
