Best tapas restaurant in Singapore. Order the jamón ibérico , bikini sandwich , marinated olives , and bossam ribs .
Fire-roasted “Secreto ” cut ($45). Good value . Juicy grilled ibérico pork . Served with Padron peppers & a tomato dipping sauce . Find this and more under their “Charcoal grilled ” section of the menu
Gambas al Ajillo ($22). Always aromatic sautéed prawns in garlic & chilli , served soaked in extra virgin olive oil
Padron peppers ($14). Can’t go wrong with lightly fried Spanish green peppers , to offer contrast from the greasy meats
Generally overpriced, with infinitesimal portions. Saving graces were the pan con tomate $8, bocados de pollo frito $18, and tropical flan $12.
Tortilla (Spanish omelette ) was exquisite. We enjoyed the classic one ($15)
Bikini sandwich ($18). Flattened and toasted, holding in melted cheese , ham & mushroom .
There is a comma in their restaurant name. Can’t find the significance or reason for the punctuation mark
Restaurant is facing the river . Nice to sit alfresco during cooler evenings
I never expect much from places along the river . And this was very average. Secreto Ibérico was too chewy. Eggplant was good. Sangria was very average. No fruit and not a red wine colour.
Olives marinadas ($14). Assortment of olives , served cold
Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One of the best coffee places in Singapore. - Audrey Tang
Now open for lunch. Great dim sum selection with seafood as main theme! - Henry Tang
A nice way to spend a weekend brunch. Small portions but very tasty. Breakfast burrito is great. - Glen Taylor
Ham croquette ($12 for 2 pcs). Savoury & fragrant, with a light crispy outer layer - Cheen The Curious
