Really good facilities and a lovely place for a stroll. Kids love it and adults love it! Nice lake , cafes and outdoor shop.

Home to the Rufford Ghost , a giant monk with a skull instead of a face. Said to be so scary that he once caused a man to die of fright. Look for him at your peril.

A lovely place for a walk or cycle. The lake is very pretty and importantly the area is pretty much accessible for all with flat paths all the way around. Good restaurants & craft shop too - Tanya Peasgood
