I had the crispy chicken sandwich with an order of the fifty-fifty fries and rings (a single tater-tot was thrown in as well ). All of which were perfectly crisp. Great, quality food!

Food was awesome! Service was good! 50-50 was hot & the onion rings melted in my mouth. Topped it off with a banana split . It was worth stumbling in there after I couldn't find my meeting last night!!

Everyone has to try Winstead's while in KC. Go ahead and get a double because the steak burgers are thin. Don't forget the grilled onions ! 50/50 fries & rings and a butterscotch malt = happiness.

The onion rings are fantastic. Add hot fudge to your shake or malt , it's worth the 39 cents.

If you are just looking for a snack , go through the drive through and order the kids cheeseburger and fries with a cherry limeade . Hits the spot every time.

Don't get the chili cheese dog . I'm sure u can make a better one at home. Maybe then it will actually be hot when u eat it and u can use melted cheese instead of shredded. 😒 BOOOOOOO

You have to order the fries/onion ring combo! And the best cherry lime-aids w/ a scoop of lime serbert on top.

Make sure to specify that you'd like fresh food , otherwise they will try to give you food from under a heat lamp
