Not ‘amazing’ but definitely worth a visit. Sit at the old-timey counter.
One of my favorite spots for breakfast . Get the pancake ...just one though...it's the size of a hubcap.
Their biscuits and gravy was literally the size of a steering wheel. It was huge, and it tasted great. The only thing left desired was the service, but as long as they have good food, I'll live.
If you do the pancake challenge, order them one at a time and eat the first one as fast as you can. Also, reserve a couch for the rest of the day. :)
Great bacon ! And the hashbrowns have got to be cooked in butter Crisco! Breakfast goldmine!

Try the Philly cheese steak sandwich with tater tots . Large portion size and delicious food.
They may be fancy now with new menus and a credit card machine....same great food!
The burger was ok, but the tots were fabulous. I'm headed there for coffee now...

Breakfast sandwich , not bad. Nothing special. Wish it came with hash browns or something.
Hours are 6 am-2pm.
They take credit cards now.
Not terrible but too many much better choices in KC.

fresh local produce is incredible. It's in the 2 aisles down the center, whereas the stores on the perimeter are bringing in grocery produce. Don't overlook Bloom though, their bread is incredible. - Nero Hardy
