Have a generous heap of fried shrimp with five-spice salt at Evergreen. Also known as salt-and-pepper shrimp ($12.50), these beauties are served with the head, shell and veins. Read more
Get the 'salt & pepper ' shrimp , it's not on the English menu. They come with heads on. Tear off the heads and eat the bodies including the (somewhat soft) shells . Delicious! Wife loved the beancurd
The satay beef chow mein is delicious every time! Very consistent! My favorite. Also, try the fried pumpkin w salty egg yolk and XO sauce . Savory but not too salty and crispy .
Hong Kong Steak (Porterhouse . T-bone steak broiled on a bed of choice vegetables topped with oyster sauce )
Portions of the salt and pepper shrimp are large, but the crisp is lost after a night in the fridge , so revitalize them as leftovers by chopping and refrying in oil to add to a stir fry . Read more
MUST try the salt and pepper egg tofu . There's nothing else like it
Brought out egg rolls after we got all our food. Had to ask for hot tea .. usually its the first thing you get. Had to aka for dinner plates and was laughed at and questioned when I requested them.
Huge portions , but a bit out of the way from the rest of Chinatown
Used to be my favorite place in china town . The service was atrocious. Told us they had a large party coming in so we had to be donation the table by 6pm. Had us eat on appetizer plates ...
The food here is much more Cantonese!
I dare you to have more than one drink here. $5.95 will get you toe UP!
The Coke is Fire!
Food had no taste. Egg rolls were all salt. Brought one entrée out Then 20 mins later brought out two more after another 10 brought out the rest
As we were leaving owner said oh its 530 cutting it close to 6 and laughed. Disgusted. How dare you say that.
Come here for the dim sum: steamed creamy egg yolk bun, xiaolongbao, and more. - Global Highlander
Great dim sum option in Chinatown. Food was very tasty and hot. Inexpensive. - Richard Wong
Finally found another good fried dough place in Chinatown. They also have mouth watering Portuguese tart, highly recommend!!! - Xinnie
