You can get less expensive tickets if you're under the age of 30. we got row V on the lower level and we were still able to see perfectly well . The tickets were $24 each.
Floor 💺 R gr8 but there’s really no bad spot in theatre . Has such a great vintage vibe. So much better w experience our festival than generic cineplexes
If you're watching a film here, stay away from seats on the back right and left sides of the main level, or you'll have a speaker hanging from the balcony block a small part of the screen!
2 theatres in 1. Being in them is like stepping back in time. The Winter Garden (on top of the Elgin) is more special, with lanterns, fake vegetation & plant-decorated walls
Apparently it's the only double storey theatre left in north America. The building is beautiful inside with still functional old elevators , old no-smoking signs, and marble everywhere
One of the most beautiful and historic theatres in Toronto . The wallpaper is pretty cool too.
Such a beautiful theater ! We went for the Toronto Intl. Film Festival and saw Driven. Really, it’s so beautiful in here- like old Hollywood beautiful.
Nice theater for live live shows. Also watch movies during the Film Festival .
Did you know that this remarkable double-decker theatre was built for vaudeville and silent films in 1913? Come visit us during Doors Open on May 25-26, 2013!
Take time during intermission to tour the theatre . It is stunning. No cameras during the show! They are very strict on this.
So so beautiful and professional! 😍 Got to see Grease here and it was absolutely amazing! ☺️
This theatre is one of the most unique building in Toronto. The interior is stunning. It transforms you to another era.
The Visa Screening Room at the Elgin Theatre is where you'll catch the Premieres of RUST AND BONE, ANNA KARENINA, GINGER AND ROSA and many more!
The decor is a nice surprise inside but they can do better about customer service and treatment of those who actually PAY to go and spend time at this place!
Guided tours of these beautiful historic theatres on Mondays at 5pm, $20. Reserve at https://www.heritagetrust.on.ca/
RANDY BACHMAN: Every Song Tells A Story. In a rare and intimate setting at the Winter Garden Theatre , Randy Bachman weaves together his iconic hits. See Bachman perform September 20, 2012 @ 8:00 pm.
Beginning in 1976 as “The Festival of Festivals”, and renamed The Toronto International Film Festival in 1995, TIFF has introduced the world to Hollywood blockbusters & art house productions, alike.
Fun for all ages and very entertaining!
This is the last Edwardian stacked theatre in the world (it's stacked with the Elgin Theatre ; one above the other).
It’s a pretty looking old theatre , but can get very stuffy and kind of anxiety inducing. Also it’s definitely haunted.
Best theatre in Toronto hands down
Beautiful theatre is an understatement.
Best theatre in the world
Do yourself a favour and see a show at this historic theatre .
Such a beautiful theatre
Front row is hard to see stage
Transports me back to an era where people of my descent weren't even allowed into places like this. What an experience.

The tour by The Haunted Walks.
Isabella Rossellni's "Green Porno"
All the Ross Petty productions are fantastic.
Wish Colin Firth a Happy Birthday here, when he celebrates at the World Premiere of ARTHUR NEWMAN on September 10 at 2:30PM.
Come early or your waiting in a long line
Decor is fabulous
The ceiling of the Winter Garden Theater is apparently 80% real plants.
Be prepared to clap a lot at the end.

Excellent, view from back of first balcony was great ;) - Marika T
The seats are comfortable and not too close together. The sound is great. I love the old theater decor. The artwork on the ceiling is great. Definitely a place to see. - Ann Stevens
Fun relaxed vibe. No bad seat in the house. - Russell Holley
