Did you know that the paintings at The Princess of Wales Theatre cover 10,000 square feet, adorning the ceiling dome, proscenium arch, walls on 4 levels, and the outside back wall of the fly tower?
The murals within the theatre reflect the items found on the site prior to the buildings construction . At the time it would be the only theatre in Canada large enough to land a helicopter on its stage
While it may not have the same history, the Princess of Wales Theatre opened 1993, has its own cache and significance. It is the first privately owned and financed theatre built in Canada since 1907. Read more
Season subscriber tickets are a pretty decent deal. Lovely theatre . Great acoustics .
Great venue. Comfortable seats with more leg room than normal. Beautiful architecture and very friendly staff .
Was here for the Book of Mormon. Great theatre , show was spectacular!
Clue: Its curvilinear exterior design and sloping glass canopy, which is reflective by day and transparent by night, have made this concert hall a Toronto landmark .
Sat at the very back in the balcony (as far as you can be) and still saw and enjoyed everything
If you have time this holiday season Blades On Stage is worth a sit in.
Beautiful theatre , huge capacity, great sound, and view !
Good theatre but need to change something - something needs to be overhauled - whether renovations or the customer service or better pricing - not sure!
One of Toronto's finest venues for live shows.
During Tiff, I get to watch a few movies here. Really nice theatre .
Excellent, view from back of first balcony was great ;)
While you are at the Princess of Wales Theatre, why not take a stroll along the sidewalk outside to see Canada 's Walk of Fame.
Beautiful venue. #TIFF15
Lousy room for legs is compensated by the beautiful rooms and atmosphere.
Hit up the washroom before the show. The lineup at intermission is insane.
Lots of good theatre actors here.
Preorder admission drinks before the show if you want to get them reasonably quickly during admission!
Beautiful looking theatre
use the washrooms !
Always pre order drinks
They sell popcorn !
The cheapest tickets aren't too far from the stage
Narrow seats :(
If you are seeing a 7:30 show here do not come late. Bad reception by ushers here
Excellent workouts at nearby adults only dance school Byfield Dance Experience. Top choreographers rehearse & teach there. www.BDXstudio.com - Shawn B

Staff was helpful and very friendly. Theatre complex is big, clean and modern. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a movie. - Jordan Renaud
Lovely waitress but too loud music in the bar. Great food, not many beers to choose from. - Clarissa Jordao
