A beautiful theatre to behold. A wonderful stage and inviting foyer. Most seats offer a decent view of the stage. Ushers should be more strict about preventing latecomers from entering.
Sat up under the rafters for Jersey Boys today. Pretty good view clear over everyone's head. So good in fact that during intermission others were playing musical chairs for seats on either side of me.
Beautiful lobby and great sight lines from all around the theatre . Plenty of spots to get concessions, and very well-trained staff .
Beautiful old theatre in the heart of downtown, formerly known and loved as the Pantages back in the Phantom of the Opera days. Great range of Mirvish shows play here.
Seats are a little cramped; There're more restrooms , accessed from the back of the theatre (go to the top row of the balcony level, at either side of the theatre ) - these are pretty empty
There're 2 entrances - Victoria Street and Yonge Street . The box office is on the Victoria Street side (pictured)
Side balconies and centre seats are the best. The seating plan diagram isn't the most accurate representation of what seating's actually like at the theatre .
Great venue. Plus, you can prepay for wine before the show starts so that you do not need to wait in line during intermission .
The theatre itself is so beautiful inside. The show was amazing and I have not been so delighted and on the edge of my seat in so long. AMAZING
Wizard of OZ was awesome. Take advantage of the bathrooms upstairs. Less busy.
Fun fact of the day: One of the few theatres (that I know of) to have a Green Room that's actually painted GREEN!
Beautiful theatre orchestra H downwards is great
Wonderful theatre . Acoustics and stage are good. Well-mannered ushers.
Father and son producers went on to finance, build, and create many other opportunities for live theatre through Mirvish Productions. Productions consistently draw huge crowds. Read more
Currently showing #Aladdin , it's a great show to see! Went to the premiere showing. What a classy looking theatre
Beautiful theatre , great architecture . Treat yourself to a show.
There are no bad seats in this theatre . Even the mezzanine seats have great views of the stage.
Watched Wicked and really enjoyed it. Great lead cast and excellent production design.
The seats are way more comfortable than the Royal Alex! And have way more room!
Great time was had by all at this great Theatre . Wizard of Oz was very entertaining.
Check out the special photo display of Toronto icon Ed Mirvish outside the newly re-named Ed Mirvish Theatre (formerly Canon Theatre )!
Word to the wise: if you're not in a wheelchair, don't try to use the handicap bathroom . There's hardly enough room to stand in the lobby, let alone be in a chair. Have some respect.
If I were going to see Aladdin again, I'd plan to have dinner at the Middle Eastern restaurant a few doors South first.
Beautiful theatre ... Just gets really crowded at the lobby during intermissions
Without Edwin (Honest Ed) Mirvish, there likely wouldn’t be a Village . Much of King West history starts with his theatres . Read more

You CAN bring a camera , just turn off the flash. Wish I knew about it beforehand
Very tight in here. Don't recommend you have a full bladder here, as they have little in the way of restrooms
Watched "Banana Schpeel"...got yelled at for taking a pic of my boyfriends head during intermission ..strict bitches..
Seating is tight!
Sneak in something to drink. Or remortgage before heading down.
Il y a des vendeurs de glace comme dans le bon vieux temps!
