This is it! The most photographed spot in Toronto! Canada's Time Square with Lots of events happening. Easy access to Path, Eaton center and tons of awesome food. Say cheese !

Firas Rashid

Great and fun place, good service and friendly staff . Many choices of food and drinks. Recommended for lunch and or dinner . The patio is amazing over looking did as square

Andra Zapartan

There is almost always sth going on - like open air concerts . ???????? What I don't like about them is the sound which is usually waaay off. However, you'll find street vendors with goodies like these ????

- R

Awesome concerts here (and other events ) every once in a while, and they're usually free! I've seen The Tragically Hip , Against Me!, NHL Faceoff and a lot more here.

Kevin Forde

Yonge Dundas Square has something different going on almost every day it seems. Great place for pictures and it can be a meeting point for persons to go off shopping and sightseeing around Toronto

LifeTO

City Cinema - movie screen was very HD, a little loud , really enjoyed watching a movie there. Loved that they had filled half the square with seats. get there early for a good seat.

Cameron Pichette

Great place to chill while hanging downtown. Always something happening. I've seen Beyonce , John Mayer, and lots if local talent on stage there at No Charge.

Elyse

Great spot for people watching and the best place in the city to get street passes for Nintendo 3DS. Lots of special events here year round.

Chyrell

Concerts , shows, cultural events , promos, buskers, place to rest , watch people, meet up, photo op, nice water fountain

Jonny Blaze

Great place for special events . Toronto needs to make more use of it, like today: the Royal Canadian Mint 's unveiling of the 75th Anniversary Superman coin set! ^_^

Tomas Legorreta

New Yorks version of times Square obviously smaller. Clean and full of people. There is always happenings going on

Malek Almutairi

Literally the centre of the most busiest intersection downtown. It's quite the view and has a times square kind of feel with just less billboards and ads.

DHR.com

Also known as Dundas Square, this is a great market square where you can catch the best concerts , film showings, and other special events . Do not miss the great water sculptures at the fountains .

Ahmed Abou Foul

Lovely and crowded during the weekends! Many shops and cafes around. Take the sub and just walk.

Dannie Brown

Great place to spend the evening. Reminiscent of Times Square in New York. Lots to see and do.

Brian Jeng

Smaller version of Times Square . Nice picture opportunities though.

Anu J

So much fun and always something going on! Park at the Ryerson parking lot off Victoria Street ; much cheaper!

Melanie Ching

Always a busy place! If there isn't a community event happening, there are plenty of buskers to keep you entertained. The fountains are amazing in the summer!

Anita Diaz

It's nice to sit and people watch , there was liveusic setting up to play but couldn't stay to see them, it's right in front of Eaton Centre where you can shop til you drop

Darina Gr.

Some people say this is an alternative for the Times Square of New York. Heart of the city , commercials and hard rock cafe ;)

Anuj Shah

The heart of the Toronto city with logo and lots of billboards displaying on leds and lcd's.Interesting place are hardrock cafe,Eathon centre and dundas main square

There's almost always something happening here! We hope you have your camera ready. If not, we're just down the street (at Queen/Church) to set you up with what you need!

If you're chillin here for a bit, don't park under the square… Park by Ryerson on Victoria street (the street beside the burger place ). It's $6 max! #ImCheapAndIKnowIt

NXNE

The heart of Toronto. This spot is hosting the biggest names during NXNE music fest on the 'main stage'. Iggy and the Stooges, De La Soul, Mudhoney, X, K-Os, Sloan, The Ravonettes...+ a BEER GARDEN !!

Quentin Lafon

Like a small Times Square ! You must visit this place when you are in Toronto !

Cineplex

The Incredible Hulk (2008) had different shots filmed in Toronto. One scene filmed on Yonge Street, was the Hulk vs. Abomination fight.

Christine Wilson

Similar to NYC's Time Square. Small and quaint, events happen here. during the summer theres water fountain flowing.

Michael Goldman

Stand near the fountains (but not in them if it's cold) for the best wi-fi signal. The connection can be spotty elsewhere in the square.

Aziz Joh

If you want to sit in public place with a friend or alone enjoying some active in the day or quite in late night . Then this is your ideal place.

HI-Toronto Hostel

Not sure what to do on a nice summer's evening? Take a walk past YDS and there's bound to be a free concert taking place. Sometimes they're big name acts too!

Carl Griffin

Toronto's version of Times Square or Piccadilly Circus .

James Roussel

Like Times Square, but in a Torontonian way. Don't miss Hard Rock Cafe and its patios in the summer.

Meghan McGee

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, it's a great place for people watching .

Moe Dexler

Like a smaller, more laid-back Times Square.

Telford Elliott

Great place to sit and people watch and something going on most times.

Salad King

Check out the trio of light sculptured polar bears at the north-west corner of the square - great for taking fun photos!

photojunkie

A cultural centre that hosts a variety of free public events . On a hot summer day, go ahead and run through the fountain .

Salad King

Take a stroll down the wider, more pedestrian-friendly sidewalks of Yonge Street during Celebrate Yonge, August 17th to September 16th!

Frederik Verleye

I saw a drug deal happening here between a black guy and an Asian chick. 10/10 would visit again

Marvin

One of the busiest places downtown. You are never alone here, no matter what time of day.

Christine Wilson

Great place to see the lights and ads. Little events happen.

Jerry Kiefer

Like a small TimeSquare. Pretty nice to walk around here and great stores as well , e.g. Adidas, H&M etc

Find a spot to people watch on one of the benches or round tables in the square!
