Richardson Beach Park

Check it out for the novelty of the black sand but it hardly qualifies as beach . You can't even see the sand during high tide.

Great beach for body surfing and snorkeling . Saw whales and a huge turtle in just a short amount of time in the water.

Great snorkel spot. Has outdoor showers to rinse off

always a busy beach-ISH area...not much sand, but always lots of sun(: get here early to get a spot before you're stuck standing under the trees

Saw 5 turtles just in the cove area, visibility probably 15-20 ft. Beautiful. Not much of a beach , 2 entry points, but it's a great park , not crowded at all.

Some sea turtles over here! Watch out for the rocks also, they hurts!

Don't expect a beach here.. There are so many other good options on the big island .

if you're lucky someone will be playing the ukulele on the beach while you are there.
