Best 'Gomtang (Beef bone soup )' in Seoul but poor service. If you can eat innards, get a 'Teuk (Special)' size. Pour a soup of Kimchi in Gomtang is a nice try. Ask your Kimchi soup refill if dried.

the flavors are all very neutral but dumping a double dose of (excellent) kimchi in there makes it pop. add an egg to your order for 500 won 👍

The broth meat and rice are every bit as good as people say. You pay up front, and will be served hot, but not too hot, food almost immediately. You must visit this place if you like Korean food .

Legend has it that when Japan left its occupation of Seoul it burned down the entire neighbourhood except this restaurant as the beef soup was so good. Still has the same menu after 70 years!

My favourite breakfast place in Myeongdong. Soup 's light and unsalted, you can add salt provided to your liking. They have a version with offal as well .

They serve the traditional gom tang here which is simple, authentic yet very comforting on a winter day

The beef brisket soup is simple and has depth. Waiter spoke Good enough English to explain the selection of soups available. A bit over priced for what it is in my opinion though.

I cannot and do not like to eat hot temperatured food, but this place offered hot soup with right temperature that was perfect for me.

There are only two choices...regular gomtang and special gomtang (includes liver ). You can also order boiled beef .

The portion is very little and the meat very thin. There is only one side dish, no option. Not a friendly place. Walked 15 mins to get here, not worth it. No queue, many empty tables in the morning

The gomtang was clean tasting but the meat and soup lack flavor. The kimchi was ok. The scallion onions were frozenish. the service was fine but the food was sub par. I would not come back again..

Over-rated. Arrived at 10am and the cashier lady was being passive aggressive. Forced me to order the most expensive options on the menu. She keeps saying " premium, premium...I prefer the one at Naju

Old restaurant . Taste is OK but not impressed. Found I ordered the big size and which costed me 25K W. They come to your table to know what you want, and take your money immediately.

특 사이즈 이상으로 시켜야 제대로 먹은 느낌이죠. 가격은 예전에 비해서 점점 오르고 있지만, 설렁탕이나 부산 돼지국밥류 이상의 건강한 국물을 원할 때 가면 최고입니다. 주말에는 영업시간을 잘 확인하고 가세요.

맛은 깔끔하고 좋다 그치만 가격대비양이 너무 적고. 친절은 기대할수 없는 분위기 맛집은 다 그렇겟지. 들어가면 계산먼저하세요!!라는 말을 듣는다 움..맛있는 곰탕은 어디에도 있다고 생각한다............

하동관은 곰탕이 진리입니다. 본이미진은 열다섯공 곰탕 특 15,000원 입니다. 스무공 20,000원은 고기가 더 올라가구요.내포, 차돌, 곱창 등 본인이 원하는 고기를 같이 먹을 수 있습니다. 국물은 설렁탕, 갈비탕 국물과는 차원이 다르답니다. 여름에 보양식으로 강추합니다.

보통으로 시켰다가, 이거 뭐지? 하는 초라한 비쥬얼에 깜놀했어요. 밥 말아져 나오는 것도. 여러가지 평들을 보니까, 특 이상 혹은 다양한 옵션을 해서 더 먹어봐야 할 것 같아요. 삼삼하고 깔끔한 맛은 괜찮은데, 고기 냄새 나는거 싫어하시는 분은 호불호 갈릴수도? 분위기는 정말 별로에요~ 전통과 유명세를 생각해 몇 번 정도는 가볼만한 집인듯해요.

국밥으로 이름이 높은 집이라 가보았습니다. 과연 유명세에 걸맞는 맛입니다. 국밥에 들은 고기는 부드럽고 두툼하며 국물맛 또한 깊습니다. 자주 찾는 듯한 손님들은 국밥이 나오면 깍뚝이국물을 달라하여 국밥에 부어먹네요. "보통" 국밥은 12,000원이고, 양과 고기가 더 들어간 "특" 국밥은 15,000입니다. 영업은 오후 4시까지랍니다.

아이들도 어르신들도 잘 드시는 이 집 곰탕. 저는 좋지만, 불친절한 서비스와 정신없는 가게 분위기 피하시려면... 포장 가능한데 용기값 받으니 포장 용기 챙겨가세요~

정통 서울식 곰탕. 곰탕 한그릇에 김치만 달랑 나오지만 먹어보면 다른거 필요 없어요. 정말 최고입니다. 날계란 추가로 넣어 드실 수 있구요, 고기는 간장 따로 달라고 하셔서 찍어드시면 더 맛있어요. 맛빼기로도 주문 가능합니다. 벌써 군침이 도네요.

곰탕의 진리 라는 말로도 설명이 부족한.. 그냥 장르를 통털어서 Best lunch in Seoul 입니다.

맛있는 곰탕으로 유명한 하동관. 맛에는 이견이 없지만 이 집의 배짱영업 한 번 볼만하다. 불친절한 서비스 기본이며, 슬리퍼 차림의 서빙하는 종업원, 지저분한 바닥, 현금선불... 위생상태가 심히 의심된다. 그치만 한 번은 꼭 와봐야 할 곳.

특(사진)이 보통에 비해 가성비가 좋다.

먹어 본 곰탕 중 이 집 보다 나은 집 못 봤음. 말이 필요 없는 우리나라 최고의 곰탕 맛집! 무조건 특으로 먹어야 함!!! 팁 남기다 입에서 홍수났네 젠장... ㅠㅠ

포스코타워 옆은 분점이 아닙니다. 명동이전전에 카운터보시던분이 나가신것. 사장님은 삼성동아는체도 안하심. 식객보고 오시는분들은 실망 잘 하시더군요. 미끄러운바닥, 열두공 열다섯공, 내포많이, 깍국 등이 하동관의 전통이죠. 7시에 먹을때가 가장맛있는듯. 포장시 그릇을 가져와야 포장비 절약.

20공(사진)보다는 '특'의 가성비가 좋은거 같다.

양에 비해 비싸고 머리카락이 나왔지만 맛있다. 가끔씩 와서 한 번씩 먹어볼 생각.

국물이 진짜 맑네요! 하지만 to go box 이래서 2000원 추가 저래서 2000원 추가는 좀 양스런 ㅜㅜ
