The selection can be a bit overwhelming at this multifaceted cheese shop , cafe , and wine bar . A blackboard offers the day's specials, and the long cheese case holds upwards of 200 varieties.

My favorite cheese shop in the DC area - they are great with recommendations, and the cheese/wine bar is great (although the last time we were there, the service was abysmal). Great accompaniments!

Sharing plates are a good deal for sharing your meal, chocolate mouse and grasshopper parfait were delicious!

Some might find it overkill, but if you’re the kind of person who’s more likely to give up chocolate than cheddar , this wine bar within a cheese shop is cause for celebration.

Decent...not great. Sometimes the emphasis on cheese ruins otherwise great dishes (like green eggs and ham ). Service was absent minded and poor.

If you like beer , buy the St Bernardus 12. It's pricey ($23.99 / 4 pack), but it's one if the best beers in the world.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff . Never been disappointed by anything on the menu, but the cheesecake is phenomenal.
