Many people recommended the tasting menu but we just went with an appetizer and two entrees and it was more than enough. Delicious food! Fresh fish + great service. Make sure to make a reservation !
Wow. The tasting menu here was arguably the best meal I have ever had. Diverse, delectable dishes. And the dessert flight is absolutely out of this world. A must for any foodie visiting Reykjavik.
Sashimi on the rocks and the back death cocktail are a must try! Also, the langoustine main course and the lobster mountain maki are awesome.
We had the 9 courses tasting menu and the amazing lobster soup , one of the best I had. Staff are friendly and introduced each dishes in details. I would come back again for my next trip for sure!
Tasting menu comes with a flashy dessert . Count it: 2 ice creams , 3 pastries , a dozen pieces of fruit -- all for two people at the end of a 9-course tasting. Delicious, but woof, that's a lot of food!
Everything was great, one of the best restaurants that i tried in my life, the menu and food were fabulous, exceptional customer service. The restaurant is quite expensive but worth every penny!
The tasting menu was absolutely fantastic! The Whale was definitely the highlight.
Neil says get the whale steak and the mussels are a pleasant surprise. Coincidently my nickname in high school was also mussels . The food was mild but that's ok this isn't spiceland
Wowza. Delicious and inventive shared tasting menu where everything is done superbly and the staff is terrific, too! Best meal I had in Iceland .
The 10-course tasting menu contains an appetizer (lamb ), 4 starters (mainly fish ), sushi , maki & sashimi as the middle course, 3 main courses (carp, salmon , goose) and a blend of desserts .
We had the tasting menu . Presentation was great and dishes were good. The tasting menu had 9 small courses. Go for sushi if you don't want the set. Service was great but overall it's a bit overpriced.
Probably the best meal we had in Iceland . We got the tasting menu (~$100/pp), which for what you get is totally worth it.
The best high-end seafood restaurant . Expensive, but the food and service are impeccable. Top recommendation for a special occasion . Book a long way in advance. Recommendation: Blue Ling (blálanga)

The tasting menu is the way to go. 9 dishes. You better be hungry. Great service & atmosphere. It's loud on Friday night. Dessert is amazing!
Had the tasting menu . An astounding 9 courses with minke whale sashimi , blueberry cured wild goose, tempura shrimp , cod , grilled salmon , lamb amazing veggies and impeccable service . Not to be missed!
If you like lobster , Thai food , or have a pulse; try the lobster bisque . I don't even really like lobster , and this is a revelation. Coming back for more. Might fly to Iceland for it.
You must have two people to do the tasting menu here. I had the cod which was delicious. Desert was worth it. Great wine !
Sashimi on the rocks was some of the best I've ever had, and I'm still thinking about that lobster soup perfection.
I had a puffin which was on the tasting menu . It's a local bird. If I've known how pretty it was I wouldn't have eaten it. Also the taste wasn't for me. I liked everything else on the tasting menu .
One of the top five restaurants in Iceland . Make a reservation and go with the tasting menu .
Langoustine sushi and grilled langoustine entry was really good here.
Beautiful seafood , cosy atmosphere and good service . Do try their Blue Ling, and the nut crumble was simply Devine.
There are many fantastic restaurants in Reykjavík but this one stands out with an impressive dessert menu . Get the one with everything and prepare for an unforgettable experience.
Beer selection was great. Bread and butter to die for. Then sushi -- this place is legit! Highly recommend !
Best seafood restaurant in town . Reservations required. The lobster soup , salmon and monkfish are to die for! Extra wine for the wait was a nice touch. Great service.
Holy crap this is one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Get the tasting menu and expect the unexpected. Also. Dat cheesecake doe!
The best sushi in Reykjavík is here, no question. Wasabi cocktail was good enough that we bought a few. Booking recommended, seems to be busy on most nights. Deservedly so!
Perfect seafood restaurant . You should definitely taste the Minky Whale! 10 of 10. But take into account that restaurant is crowded and it's better to book beforehand.
No matter what you eat, don't leave this restaurant without trying the White Chocolate Cheesecake : it's phenomenal!
The tasting menu is a worthwhile splurge, with lots of incredible fish , seafood and, yes, whale. Service was superb.
The special roll of the house is crunchy, savory and delightful. At least do it as an app if you're ordering entrees.
Maki roll was excellent. Lobster Soup , the bread , amazing. Mussels and Sashimi were ok only
The sushi is tasteful, do try the warm chocolate cake with Caramel , strawberries and condensed ice cream . On all, great service.
The tasting menu was perfect both for lunch and dinner (Where you get the whale sashimi )
Lobster soup and Volcano sushi are a very tasty. Unfortunately I couldn't try the taste menu as this is only for 2 or more persons
The cheesecake desert with passion fruit is totally unique and utterly exceptional. It's a must.
Must try Volcano Langoustine Maki , Icelandic Mussels & Lobster Soup
Pro tip: if you're dinning alone ask to grab the bar downstairs and they can seat you immediately
Wonderful meal and excellent service. A must do if you're looking for a classy meal in Reykjavik.
I may have had the best meal of my life in this place. Anything less than 10 is an injustice.

Amazing seafood . You really can't go wrong with anything. The langoustine is enormous.
While their take on sushi isn't remarkable, other dishes on the fish centric menu are enjoyable, thanks to very fresh produce .
Amazing food, volcano and spider sushi is my favorite:)
