Cafe Beignet

Having been to both Cafe Beignet and Cafe Du Monde AND an "out of towner" I have to say Cafe Beignet definitely has better beignets ! It's also a much quieter atmosphere, we were there at 10:45 am.

Order then sit and they will bring it to you. The Beignets here are just as good or better than the Cafe du Monde but try both. Very nice music plays inside. Always a New Orleans must when I'm here.

Skip Café du monde altogether and come here! Grab a few beignets and eat in the patio . It gets a bit crowded in the morning, but in the early afternoon is such a peaceful spot .

Cafe du Monde is great, we thought this place was better. If you like beignets that are more crunchy/well done, you’ll like du Monde. If you like them more doughy and soft, this place is for you.

Waaaaay better than Café du Monde . These beignets were bigger, fluffier and fresher. The setting - pictured - also much nicer.

Beignets here is way better & delicious then Cafe du Monde . Their coffee is strong. Long queue but is move quickly. Sitting on the garden is nice.

I really enjoyed this place. It wasn't crowded at all. This was my first Beignet ever and I loved it. It was fluffy, crunchy and perfect. We had a great time.

Such a cute place! Southern breakfast was really good. My mom loved her French toast (that doesn't happen often) we got beignets too. Bigger and lighter than Cafe du Mond .

Beignets had a more thick and greasy crust than cafe du monde . The courtyard and live music at night was a lovely ambiance much preferred to the debauchery of bourbon street.

If you want to rest, relax and eat Beignets this is the best place to go,cafe is nice and clean and they serve one the best Beignets in NOLA

Another one to try beside Cafe Du Monde . Bigger and doughier, and taste less fried. We liked them better.

The line went down quickly, don't be put off. It's a little rough getting a seat as people grab tables before they've ordered. Coffee and beignets were AMAZING but the crawfish omelette disappointinG

Beignets here are 100x better than cafe du monde . So yummy. Get the frozen cafe at lait here- it is the best coffee drink I've ever had! And I'm a New Yorker.

This place is really cute but I think Cafe du Mond is better for beignets because they out more sugar. Although Cafe Beignet serves breakfast my breakfast sandwich on croissant was dripping grease

Other than the beignets the food was pretty mediocre but it's really the perfect spot to sit outside in the shade, have a coffee and listen to music on royal street. Good alternative to cafe du monde

Its a must come place if you are in NOLA. They have the best coffee , which is perfect after a crazy night at bourbon .

Great cafe with good vibe. Outdoor seating is available. Can get busy but worth a stop for an iced coffee and pastry

Had never had a beignet until then. There's something magical about having world-famous beignets at a small NOLA cafe in the rain listening to local jazz .

As long as I get here by 8, it is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in NOLA. I like the beignets here the best and the staff is pretty nice.

Best Beignet in town ! The staff is friendly and the Cafe Au Lait is legit. I'll pick this over Cafe Du Monde every time.

I like the food and the fact you can get alcohol . Not to mention they've got great live music

Beautiful arched ceilings and old tile floors. Courtyard opens to the adjacent 8th District Police Station ...don't steal any condiments!

Beignets were delicious. Line moved pretty quickly. Keep an eye open for a seat.

They have a full menu with breakfast and sandwiches . Including good vegetarian selections .

We got here early in the morning in late October. The beignets were good. The coffee was really bitter, too bitter. But the garden was nice.

This place is THE place in New Orleans to have Beignets . The espresso coffee is good with it. Do not leave town without visiting this place.
