The St. Patrick's day event this year was amazing! Great place, great live music ! They don't announce it but they sell tickets for the event , you have to call up.
This is the palace to be!, great bands weds to sun and 3 full HD tvs to enjoy all sporting events . The crowd is another positive! Great atmosphere! :D
Great pub for watching the Celtic games and the GAA games. Free stew (which is excellent) during the GAA games.
A good place to watch sport on tv provided you don't mind drinking Guinness . The handpump mentioned in Matt M's Tip appears to have been decommisioned
Recently renovated and looking much nicer now! They sell Scampi Flavour Fries
Lovely pint of the black stuff as you'd expect. Pretty good for Utd games in here too
Not a bad pint. And good place for sport . Drink up!:)
They've put a handpull on - black sheep . Am a fan of this spot. Characterful!
Don't try the food.
Renovated but it's still shit. Poor pint of Guinness . No idea why I keep coming back - always hopeful it will improve! Oh well !
Avoid at all costs unless there is a match on and nobody else is showing it. Even then- avoid. Shitehole, it's not been renovated in 10 years.
Great pint of Guinness. Always busy with friendly atmosphere. - Tristan Comley
Not the cheapest of pubs in the city centre but a great atmosphere. - Adam Ross
Good food, good beer and lovely atmosphere. Outside seating overlooking the canal. - Julia Maddrell
£4.05 for a single G&T is steep (and I've lived in London a few years!!) - nights with drink offers are best! :) - Gari Wellingham
Great boozer. At the minute they have Creme Beerlee on, which is something you have to try! Student pub but welcoming. - Stu Mitchell
Always a cracking pint with great folk, try the guest ales. Always a treat - Daniel D
